"The Seven Runes"

Nauna na akong pumasok. I left Aera and Flare in our dorm dahil sabi nila, mauna nalang ako. Late silang nagising thats why, nahuli rin silang mag bihis.

I walked passed the buildings at binilisan ko ang paglalakad dahil sobrang nakakatakot yung mg ibang students. Yung tinititigan ka nila tapos may mga hawak silang mga ibat-ibang armas. Nakakakilabot dahil parang gusto ka nilang patayin. It may be hard for them because they've been wasting their whole life inside this academy at hindi ko hahayaang mangyari din samin yon. Hahanap kami ng paraan para makawala dito at para narin mapalaya lahat ng mga inosenteng buhay na nadamay dito.

I immediately entered our room and I was so shocked when I suddenly bumped into someone along the doorway. Bumagsak ako sa sahig at sobrang sakit ng likod ko.

It was Lucas. Sandali ulit kaming nagkatitigan kaya agad din akong tumayo.

"Hindi ka na nga nag sorry tapos hindi mo pa ako tinulungang tumayo ha."
Sambit ko with an annoyed voice.

"I-Im sorry. Pero ikaw naman yung bumangga sakin diba. "
He retorted.

Aba! Sumasagot pa talaga ha.
I just rolled my eyes off him at dumiretso narin ako sa upuan ko. Sobrang nabigla lang ako nung sinundan niya ako and he's acting that strange again. He sat on the chair in front of me at saka hinarap ako.

Whats up with him?

"Any problem? " I asked raising an eyebrow.

"I-Ikaw ba talaga yan? "
Sambit niya. What is he saying? Parang wala siya sa sarili niya. I took a glance at him and I admit it, he's very handsome when you're so close to him. When I looked him in his eyes, there is something. Parang sobrang lungkot ng nga mata niya. I dont know why but there is something behind those eyes.

"O-Of course, ako to. Meron pa bang iba."
I replied.

"Zaianna ba talaga ang pangalan mo? "
He asked again.

What is wrong with him? Pinagtitripan niya ba ako?

"Oo. Bakit ba? "

Umiling lang siya then tumalikod narin sakin.

After a minute, dumating narin si Ms. Veronica.
Sunod namang dumating si Aera together with Zed then Flare and Tristan.
We all sat inside the room still wondering of whats going to happen next.

"So just like what I've said, kailangan nating aralin kung paano i channel ang magic with your bodies. You all need to master the art of wielding magic just before the Festival starts. "
Pagsisimula niya.

"In order to use Magic,especially on beginners, it requires lot of concentration and willpower. At mas nagiging consistent ang flow of magic sa katawan niyo if you'll contain and carve it using your emotions. The stronger your feelings are, the stronger you can use that power. "

I breathed in heavily then I closed my eyes. Carve it using your emotions. Sobrang daming bagay ang gumugulo sa isipan ko ngayon. What magic could I possibly channel with my body using the magic of time?

"Ms. Veronica, I think its impossible. Wala namang nangyayari eh."
Dinig kong pagrereklamo ni Flare.

"Wala muna sa ngayon kasi hindi niyo pa nakukuha ang mga runes. This time, we still need to focus on concentration especially on communicating with magic. Pakinggan niyo kung anong sinasabi ng inner thoughts niyo. Magic is in your blood therefore,listen to what it says then let it all out. "
