(F/n)'s eyes fluttered open when the voices, both familiar and not, that echoed around her became louder and finally managed to pull back her conscience.

"Don't worry, we won't squash you!" Stated a voice that clearly belonged to the man who had presented himself to her as Blados before darkness overtook her sense. "Not if you continue through the caves."

(E/c) orbs finally regained their focus, allowing (f/n) to finally take on the entirety of her surroundings and the shaken up figure of a boy that was tied up right beside her at the feet of the mysterious masked man upon what appeared to be some kind of metallic platform.

"What...? The caves?" Snapped a tired voice belonging to a surprisingly cheery looking old man, catching the girl's gaze.

"We're not going anywhere! Give my brother back!" Demanded a young blue-haired girl, rather similar to the boy that sat beside (f/n).

"And leave my sister alone!" Joined a familiar voice, leading (f/n) to turn her gaze towards the enraged figure of her twin sister, Karis.

"These twerps? We're going to boot them both out at one of the cave's exits!" Declared the swordsman.

(F/n), along with everyone else, tensed at the disclosure of this new piece of information; if they left threw them away just like that in the middle of nowhere, there was a high chance that they would both be found and eaten by some carnivore creature roaming the area.

"What do you mean? Boot them out?!" Stuttered fearfully the blue haired girl.

"You'll want to hurry to that exit! They'll stay tied up; easy snacks for passing beasts!" Mused Blados, successfully unnerving all the present teens and their accompanying senior.

"you're dropping them both at the North exit?" Wondered the old man.

"You know there isn't just one exit, there are two. And Rief..." Started Blados. "...and (f/n) might be one at each exit, both at the North end... or both at the South." Finished the swordsman.

"Of course, of course! There's an exit to the North; and another to the South, near Harapa." Pondered the old man.

"Yes! Two exits; one Kraden!" Stated Blados; even though the bottom part of his face was covered, the squinting look on his eyes was enough to clarify that his lips were twisted in a sickening smile. "But maybe the rest you have left of the spawn of the so-called Warriors of Vale could help you out!" Suggested the strange man.

Matthew, Tyrell and Karis looked in surprised and shocked wonder as the captor of their friends mentioned them.

"What's he going on about?" Echoed Karis.

"Is he talking about us?" Blurted out Tyrell, showing off once again just how oblivious he could be at times.

"That is exactly what my eager associate is saying!" Intervened Blados' masked companion for what appeared to be the first time. "Head to the southern exit, near the town of Harapa."

"What?" Silently muttered Matthew in confusion.

"Why would we have to go there?" Wondered Karis.

Had it not been for all the despair she felt, (f/n) might have snickered at the extremely rare sight of her twin in confusion, probably feeling dumber than ever before.

"We want to go North, not down South!" Argued Tyrell, merely adding to his childhood friend's fear and exasperation.

"Ha! You'll find out soon enough, right?" Said Blados, roughly grabbing (f/n) by the back of her collar and menacingly gazing into her eyes. Startled, the girl nodded vehemently before he let her fall to the ground from several centimetres high.
