One thing you should know about me, is I can make any situation the most crazily awkward thing ever. Ask my ex boyfriend. After the first time he kissed me, he pulled out, and I went cross eyed and snorted. No wonder i'm single now. He's the only guy so far stupid enough to willingly date me. I regret it though, losing my first kiss to a dirty rotten player. He was riding off into the distance on top of another girl within two weeks.

Another thing, is my love of music. I sing, and play the guitar a little. At the moment, I'm working on starting a band. I don't really have any musical friends though, they're all sporty types. So am I, but i'm more of an all rounder.

I scroll through my Instagram feed, making the odd comment, and laughing every so often. I'm just about to post a throwback Thursday, when I get a text notification. I open the application, and see that it's from my vocal coach; Helena.

Signed you up for Rock co, already have some matches :) they want to set up a meeting with a bunch of possible band members. Can u do this Saturday at the base?

Oh my goodness. Rock co it is this organization that young music artists can sign up to, and get put into a band of suitable people, that have also signed up like you. They also have a mentoring program to get the bands going. I can't believe my luck! I wonder what they will be like. As excited I am about the music, I'm even more excited about making some new friends. I don't have high expectations though. It could possibly not work out this weekend. I text Helena back.

OMG yaaaasss so pumped! :O

I can't think about anything else as I get ready for school, showering, then drying and straightening my long blonde hair. I throw on a coat of mascara, a little lip gloss, and I'm ready to go. I eat a banana, put all my books in my bag, and walk to the bus stop. Headphones in, problems out. Pretender blasts in my ears and I smile. This is my total rock out song. This is the song I blast on the radio and jam to in front of the mirror.

I arrive and pull my headphones out, because Will is at the bus stop. He is my friend, but he also dates my best friend Yasmin. They are literally the cutest couple. Will previously dated our ex best friend Hayley, who lost our trust by lying to impress us.

"Hey Willayyy." I say, and he turns around and pulls his classic funny face. It seriously can't even be described.

"Gorgeous day isn't it" He says, I look up at the cloudy sky, that flashes with lightning every now and then. "I feel like we should all go to the beach."

"As good as that sounds, I personally would prefer to go to the park and read in the sunshine." I say with a giggle, and he chuckles as he checks his phone.

"The bus will be here in 3.." He probably got a text from Yasmin, who is already on the bus. "2..." I crane my neck to see the bus come around the corner as he says one. I laugh, and get on the bus. Yas is sitting at the back with our other friends. Wade the gamer, Harrison the player, and Quannika the awkward comedian. Squishing into the 5 seater, all six of us sit together. The bus ride takes ten minutes of stupid talk, and Yasmin hugs Will goodbye, and walks to class with me. The others are in different classes; Harrison & Quan in one, Will & Wade in another.

We walk past my ex on the way to class, and I give him the routine cold shoulder as I pass. We get to form class, and I make my way to my seat in between two of my friends; Indigo and Isaac. Indigo is kinda the class bad ass, with her bleach blonde hair that she dip dyes a different colour every ten seconds. Isaac is such a sweetie, and is pretty much friend-zoned by every girl in the class. God bless him, he's like my brother.

"BÆ!!!!!!" Indigo shrieks and hugs me. I love her because she's my wild, party friend that I can say the most inappropriate things to, and we would both just laugh it off. I give Ian a quick hug, and sit down and log into the school wifi, aka my lifeline.

The bell rings and everybody takes their seats. Hayley yells to shut us up, since it's her job to read the daily notices.

"Hockey girls... bla bla bla brass band... bla bla student council... Bla bla bla." Nobody listens to her anyway. The first period bell rings, and we make our way to English. We do one of those lame worksheets for the whole time, and then went to our next class, science. Just looked at mushrooms under microscopes, the usual boring drone.

The day blurs like an alcoholic man swearing on national television. And before I know, I'm waiting for the bus home. The wait is usually half an hour of inappropriate jokes and testosterone, none of which changed today.

I catch the bus home, and walk in the door. My mother immediately swamps me with hugs and did you have a good day, what did you learn etc. I manage to satisfy her, and then go down to my room. I get out my ukulele and begin to strum.

"Where are the fairytale romances,

Where are the spotlight dances.

Where is my Prince Charming,

His absence is alarming."

I write the lyrics to my improvised song down, and continue to play until I form an entire song around that one stanza. That's the thing about writing music; once you have one little thing, everything else emerges from that. I can express much more through lyrics than I can through words.

The night goes in fast forward and before I know it, I'm in bed thinking about my beautiful, undying regrets. The night grasps my soul, and pulls me into my nightmares.

"I still love you Quinny." Be my little dolphin."

"Will you take me back gorgeous?"

"You are hot, beautiful, amazing body, relatable"

BZZZZZZ. BZZZZZZ. BZZZZZZ.

Thank the skies for my alarm clock, taking me away from all my fears of Theo. As much as I hate the boy, I can't get him out of my mind.

It's Friday finally, a day before my meeting. I can't stop thinking about it all day at school, and I really hope this is the right opportunity for me. The day dies with the sun, and I get cosy in bed and watch youtubers until I fall asleep.
