The brown haired man left his sister's room, leaving her lying motionless on the floor. Tears escaped her eyes and slowly rolled down her cheeks. She felt like she couldn't move and felt that if she tried to it'd cause her extreme pain. Her mother wasn't home since she leaves for work very early and her father didn't live with them. Besides, she never thought about telling her mother. All she wanted was to escape the hell she was in. But she knew that if she tried she'd somehow end up back there. Gently, she managed to push herself up and sat with her back hunched over, brown hair covering half of her face. Again, she stared out the window. Her feathered friends weren't there, but she could hear them. Very clearly. To her, they were her angels. Every time she hears them, she manages to pull through. But only a little. She looked at the crimson cuts on her right arm. She started to touch one to see if it still hurt. It only hurt a bit. So little that she was able to put up with it. The girl didn't want to go back downstairs so instead, she took one of her teddies from the headboard of her bed and held it close to her. Cuddling it. Afterwards, she opened her window, allowing her to clearly hear her guardian angels telling her it's alright and things will get better. She suddenly jumped to her feet, tightly holding her brown, fluffy teddy. Her brother seemed to have yelled for some reason and he made his way to his sister's room. He burst the door open and went over to his sister. He swung his arm and struck her across the face, knocking her to the floor, dropping the teddy.
The girl kept her eyes closed. The hit caused her to seem paralysed. So much that she couldn't even open her eyes. The songs of the feathered animals outside seemed to have stopped, like they saw what happened. The girl felt a rush of cold against her skin, which was strange. A minute ago she felt the sun upon her skin. But still, she felt like she couldn't move. But she heard something. It sounded like footsteps. Maybe it was her brother walking away after pleasing himself. She got chills when she felt someone's fingers on her skin. The girl then got lifted up and her head was supported by someone's leg as it layed there. Something was then poured into her mouth. It seemed very sweet, like syrup. It caused her to finally open her eyes. Before her was a young man, maybe the age of seventeen or eighteen. He had dark, blond hair that parted at the front. Locks of it seemed to cover his right eye, whereas the other locks on his left seemed to fall near his left eye but not exactly covering it. He had beautiful light blue eyes. To the girl, he was very cute. The boy then sat her up so she could examine her surroundings. She seemed to be in a winter forest. The boy helped her to stand up. She wasn't wearing the same pink pyjamas she was wearing before. Upon her neck seemed to be a necklace. But then she realised it wasn't a necklace, it was there to keep the fur cape remaining on her back. She wore a skirt that was made from fur with a light brown colour. The top half of her seemed to be covered in a white armour and she wore small, white boots.
"You're lucky I found you. You seemed like you were dying, how did you get here anyways? You don't seem like you're from around here," the boy spoke. His voice caused the girl to look at him, now she finally had a visual of what he wore. He also wore a furry cape, but was a bit longer than hers. He seemed to also wear a white armour with black boots. The girl replied, "I don't remember anything. I don't know how I got here." The boy replied, "Do you at least remember your name?" The girl looked around as she answered, "Snooki. My name is Snooki." The boy smiled, "Nice to meet you Snooki. I'm Leon." Snooki smiled at him and asked, "Where am I?" Leon replied, "The Winter Forest. That's what we call it around here." Snooki looked at him. "There's more of you?" Leon nodded. "There's a group of us. We call ourselves Hunters and Huntresses. I'm the leader of them." Snooki could see why a cute guy like Leon would be made leader. Both of them then heard something that sounded like a phone. Leon pulled out a small, glass box. It was where the noise was coming from. He pressed a button to answer the call and a girl was speaking to him. "Leon! Thank god you're all right. You've been gone for a while, we started to get worried about you," the girl said. Leon chuckled, "You don't need to be worried about me Xian. You know what I can do, there's not a chance that I'll be in trouble." Leon then added, "By the way, I'm gonna be coming back with someone. I found her almost dying out here, she's lucky I found her." Before hanging up, the girl supposedly called Xian replied, "Well, as long as you think we can trust her, we'll be alright with that."
"So, you're taking me with you," Snooki asked. Leon smiled, "You must be nuts if you think I'm gonna leave you out here by yourself. I don't think you know what hides in this forest. It might be pretty, but that doesn't mean that things don't lurk around here." As both of them started walking, Leon suddenly stopped. "What's wrong," Snooki asked as she looked around them. Without looking directly at her, Leon replied "Didn't you hear that?" Snooki questioned him as she never heard anything except them talking. Suddenly, Leon grabbed Snooki by her arm and pulled her down. Snooki tilted her head back to see something black jump over them. Leon then quickly scrambled to his feet and pulled out a bow and arrow from his back. Snooki came face to face with a black wolf. It had burning red eyes that seemed to leave misty trails when it moved. It was like she was dreaming. The wolf made the most terrifying noise, this was no ordinary wolf. Leon ordered Snooki to stay behind him whilst he eliminated the beast. Several arrows stuck out of the wolf's stomach, it still wasn't dead. Instead of using all of his arrows, Leon pulled out a dagger from the little pouch on his hip. "Here boy," he said, trying to lure the animal towards him. The wolf growled and sprinted towards Leon and jumped on him. Leon grabbed the wolf's neck and stabbed it multiple times in the chest. Eventually, its health gave in to the wounds. Leon threw the corpse off him and stood back up. Snooki saw the blood on Leon's face and pointed it out to him so he could wipe it off. Before asking Snooki to follow him again he said in his deep voice that gave the girl chills, "Welcome to my world."
