The day started like any other for Lance waking up being late for school meeting with hunk and pidge at lunch getting In trouble this seemed to repeat everyday
"Students today we will be doing a different kind of lesson " this got everyone's attention including lances to focuse on their language teacher mr geewadaha (ge-E-wah-da-ha)"we will be learning single phrases in sign language " everyone stayed quiet waiting for further instructions and reasoning for the lesson but mr geewadaha didn't comply and waited for a student to raise their hand
after about a minute pidge finally rose her hand
" sir why do we have to learn sign language is their a reasons other than it being a useful skill or something "
everyone nodded in agreement with the Proposition
"Well that's easy a student is transferring to this class who is a mute he is younger than all of you like pidge but just a year younger he should have been moved a year higher at the start of the year he was acing all of the work easily and didn't pay attention because he already knew the answers but because he's mute they kept him their until now " everyone made a sound of understanding and mr geewahada started the lessons showing them simple words that are used in day to day life
Lance was excited to meet the new student he had so many questions to ask him? Her? They? Lance didn't know but he was excited
"pidge hunk I wonder what they are like why are they mute is it a girl or boy or neither or both what's their sexuality race " Lance exclaimed as he almost was hoping while walking but instead it was more of a skip
"While....."pidge said with a cocky grin"I did some research on students in the school and we only have one mute in this school Keith kogane Korean male age 17 birthday October 29 but the weirdest part about him is he doesn't have any physical problems which means him being mute is a decision he stopped talking at the age of 11 his first year of middle school and no one knows the reason " pidge finished
"Can't wait to meet em " was lances simple response hunk just nodded agreeing to lances statement
