I know for those of you who have been reading I was supposed to update days ago but I think that this will make up for it a little being this is over 2000 words minus the ig post, but I've been stuck reading livthawriter "She's A Keeper" I stopped reading August Alsina fan books, but THIS SHIT IS BOMB AF! I'm a big critic and once I see something I don't like in a book I delete it from my library and don't think twice, but don't take my word for it...

I was sitting at the nurses' station when I heard someone crying which I might be usual during the day but last I checked all the kids were asleep. I was the only nurse up, the rest were in the back area taking naps, so I got up and decided to do my rounds to see what was going on.

Tony, asleep.

Miguel, asleep.

Amber, asleep.

Erin, asleep.

Christopher, asleep.

Maegan, asleep.

Isabella, asleep.

Walking into Danielle's room I heard sniffles. Danny never crying, not when she falls, or during her periods of time when she cant hear so I knew something really was wrong.

"Danny, baby whats wrong?" I asked climbing into bed beside her while she held her phone in her hands.

"He didn't come. H-He w-wont answer his phone. Did I do something and make daddy upset?"

That's when I remembered how happy she was early today all those times I came and checked on her, her dad never came. The tears streaming down her face broke my heart and the fact that she really it was her fault it was made it worst.

"It's going to be okay baby. maybe something just came up and he forgot hi-"

"NO! Daddy never forgets anything Ms. Liyah!" she stopped me pulling away from my arms that were around her. "Daddy promised, Ms. Liyah," she said.

"Ok, how about you give me his number and I'll call him from he desk. How does that sound?"

She hurriedly unclocked her phone to his contact and handed me her phone, copied it down out, and gave her the phone, "I'm going to go call I'll be right back, ok sweetie?"

"OK GO HURRY MS. LIYAH!"

Walking back toward the nurses' station I saw a figure walking slowly toward me with bags dressed in all black. Getting closer I could see a beard and honey-colored durag.

"Can I help you?"

"Daddy?!"

Before he could say anything, Danielle ran and jumped into his arms causing him to drop all the bags he had in his hands. He spun her around and continuously kissed all over her face causing her to smile and giggle.

"Hey, princess," I heard him say pulling his head back, smiling back at her.

"I called you sooooo many times daddy and you didn't answer. Why didn't you answer daddy? What took you so long you said 7 and it-it's," looking around and being unable to tell the time on the wall clocks, she looked at me, " uh Ms. Liyah, what time is it?"
