ASHLEY HARP WAS not a big swimmer, not at all. What she was was the person who sat by the side of the water, not getting wet. It wasn't that Ashley was afraid of swimming, she just didn't enjoy getting wet, because once you do and you get out of the water, it's really cold. And even when you are in the water, it's cold. She didn't enjoy being cold.

And despite all of this, Ashley agreed to go to the quarry with the others. Beverly was supposed to be there, anyways, and that should make it better.

As of currently, Ashley was stood in her room, fiddling with the hem of her skirt. She was sat on her bed, baby blue tennis shoes on her feet. Her dad was in the living room, probably with a cup of coffee and a newspaper. She didn't know why adults were so invested in those two things. She found one bitter and the other boring. Besides, who really likes learning about more missing kids? That's all that was ever in the paper, it was kind of downing.

Ashley shook away her thoughts as she stood up and walked over to her bedroom door. She needed to get going, anyways.

Ash opened the door, before making her way downstairs in silence. Once downstairs, she walked towards the living room. Her predictions had been correct. Her father was sat on the couch with a cup of coffee and a newspaper.

"Hey, Dad." Ashley spoke quietly, which caught Alexander Harp's attention, "I'm going to a friend's house. Is that okay?" She asked, and Alexander nodded, glancing back at his paper.

She caught a glimpse of the paper, and the first words she saw was 'missing' and 'Patrick Hockstetter'. She frowned, so she had been right about the whole 'only missing kids' thing. The name Patrick was familiar. Hockstetter. That was one of Henry's friends, right?

"That's fine. I'm gonna be leaving soon and I'll be at work until six, I expect you home by then." Her dad replied, and Ashley smiled.

"Okay, I'll be home by then, promise. See you, Dad." Ash hummed put, before making her way over to the door. She glanced put the window quickly, before opening the door and exiting her house.

Ashley quickly walked over to her bike, and slung her leg over it. The quarry was about twenty five minutes away from her house by bike, she'd been there before.

With a nod to herself, Ashley began pedaling the bike.

IT TOOK A BIT longer than Ashley had expected to get to the quarry. Instead of twenty five, it was around thirty five. But eventually, she did arrive, and still about five minutes early.

As of currently, she was holding her bike to her side, making her way through the woods that would lead her to the quarry. She was humming softly, when she caught a glimpse of fire red hair and pale skin, a dress that reached her knees.
