You are mine

Is this Love?

After completing the formalities with the censor board and the distributors, the release date of the movie has been announced. And the total cast is excited to see their hard work being paid off. Soon the day has come and Swara along with Sanskar and their director went to watch the premier show with the audience in the nearby theater.

"Swara, are you excited to see yourself on the screen for the first time?", asked Sanskar for which Swara nodded in yes, not trusting her voice. Her excitement was clearly visible in her eyes. As the first show got completed, the response was in favor of them. Most of them gave positive reviews about the couple saying that they were looking good together. So, offers started queuing for Swara.

She signed two contracts, out of them one was with Sanskar again. Swara with her first remuneration bought a two-bedroom flat as she felt it is more than enough for her and a car because it would be easier for her to travel.

One day as Sanskar and his mom were just watching television, Sujatha out of the blue asked the most difficult question to her son.

"Sanskar, tell me the truth, do you love Swara?"

Sanskar didn't reply and there was silence for some time.

"Mom why did you ask me this question?"

"Look Sanskar, for the past few days I am hearing her name too often from you, mom Swara is like this, she did that and all. Till now I have never heard you speaking about a girl so much that's why I asked", replied Sujatha.

Sanskar putting his head on his mother's lap "Ma, I don't know this is love or not, but I feel so happy when I am with her. I forget everything when I am talking to her. And she is not what she is trying to show herself to be, she is smiling in front of everyone but there is something that she is trying to hide from this world. I could see the pain of losing something in her eyes", replied Sanskar all lost in his own thoughts.

"Oho, my son is grown up now" saying this she laughed. "Sanskar, I liked her a lot. If you say you want to marry her, then I would be the most happiest person".

This last line is heard by Ram, Sanskar's father who was coming into the hall.

"Sanskar, do you love someone?", shouted Ram.

"Dad... actually...", Sanskar tried to explain but he was interrupted by his father.

"Now, listen to me carefully, I already have chosen a girl for you. You are going to marry only her. I don't want to repeat the same old mistake again. This time, I selected this girl very carefully. She is so sweet and would keep everyone in our family happy. You get that?"

"Dad, this is not fair. How can you take such an important decision of my life without my consent? Please dad, once meet her I am sure you will like her", requested Sanskar.

"It's decided Sanskar. Tomorrow I have invited her for lunch. Stay at home", saying this Ram left to his room.

"Mom, at least you talk to him. Swara is really a nice girl. I don't know she likes me or not, but I can't give up on her so easily", pleaded Sanskar.

"Sanskar, you know your dad well, he thinks thrice before taking any decision. So, don't worry. He would have chosen someone right for you", saying which she too left from there.

"Sanskar, call Swara too for lunch tomorrow", said Laksh who witnessed his father's anger as well as his brother's helplessness.

"But Laksh, what if Swara doesn't like Sanskar?", asked Ragini.

"Ragini, I know no one could reject my sweet brother. So, you don't worry about that", said Laksh to cheer up his little brother.

Sanskar hugged Laksh and Ragini smiled seeing them while praying to God that everything should be fine.

Sanskar called Swara "Hello Swara, are you free tomorrow?"

"Ha Sanskar...I...", replied Swara.

"Great, now listen, tomorrow you are coming to my house for lunch. Okay?", said Sanskar.

"Sanskar, Listen I...", Swara was trying to say something but Sanskar is no mood of hearing to her.

"You are coming that's it. Shall I pick you up or will you come?", asked Sanskar.

"Send me the location, I will come", replied Swara.

"Good. See you tomorrow", saying which he hung up not listening to what Swara wanted to tell.

Swara to herself "I wanted to tell him something very important but he... don't know what will happen tomorrow. Oh god, I hope everything is fine".

Thinking all this, Swara went to bed. On the other hand, Sanskar was very angry on his dad, so he skipped his lunch and on continuous one-hour insistence of his mother and Ragini, he had his dinner and slept. At night in Sujatha and Ram's room, Sujatha who couldn't see her son like this burst out on her husband.

"Ram, Marriage is not a joke. How could he live his whole life with a girl whom he doesn't like? You should have asked him before fixing his marriage".

"Sujatha, relax. Who told you that I fixed his marriage? I didn't even tell that girl about this", said Ram trying to pacify the over obsessive mother of his kids.

Sujatha looked at him with confusion.

"I met her few weeks back. She is acting as my daughter in one movie. I think Sanskar knows her well, she acted with him too. I just told her to come here as I wanted to talk something important with her".

"But how come you are so sure that she is correct for our Sanskar?"

"Sujatha, seriously in all these days, the respect she showed towards others and also the way she treated everyone in the set equally, anyone could say about her character and of course she is very beautiful in and out", explained Ram to justify his choice.

"The girl Sanskar liked is also..."

Ram interrupted "Please Sujatha, I don't want to repeat the same mistake again and again. Sanskar is a kid and he trusts everyone easily. Many girls will try to trap him seeing his charm and property. So, please this time let me take a wise decision. Now, it's getting late. Good night".
