"When we leaving?"Emery ask as we pack up some of our clothes. It was just gone be me and her. Ima come back Miami to get Brittany. Right now, I want some alone time with Emery. She wants to see her peeps. Let them know that she okay. I'm okay with that.
"In a few"I said grabbing my phone and keys. "Brittany, don't answer the door for anybody. There's a lot of food in the cabinet"
"Whatever"she continued to watch tv.
"Good girl"I smiled then walk out the hotel room. Me and Emery walk down the hall going to the elevator. "Excited?"I ask Emery.
"Yeah. I mean it's my mom and dad we're seeing"she said smiling wide.
I feel bad on kidnapping her the first time. Damn. She already had a life. "Miss Baltimore"
She stayed quiet for a bit. "If I ever go back, I would have to go back to the damn counselor meeting class and listen to my parents again"she frowned.
"What's wrong with them?"I ask.
"They babies me a lot"she said.
"Sound like me"I smiled.
"What you mean?"she ask narrowing her eyebrows.
"I babies my little girl a lot"I smiled thinking about my baby girl name Kairi.
"You have a baby?!"Emery semi yelled in the hotel lobby.
"Keep your mouth quiet"I said. She kept smiling at me. "What?"
"Awwww, you have a baby girl"she laugh. "I didn't know"
"You didn't need to know"I said while stopping the taxi.
I help Emery with her bag and hop in the car. "To the airport"I said.
"How you met your baby mama?"Emery ask.
"High school"I said staring out the window.
"What's your daughter name?"
"Kairi"I said. "Kairi Chanel Brewster"I smiled.
"Where is she now?"
"California"I said.
"I want to see her"Emery said.
