Chapter 5

We find a parking spot and walk the east side of the beach.

Me- Where are you guys?
Lilly- We're on the east side of the beach
Me- Perfect lol
Lilly- Why?
Me- We parked on that side
Lilly- Oh, I'll find you😁

We continue to walk down the trail to the beach and see someone running towards us. I squint my eyes and realize it was Lilly. She finally reached us but out of breath "Hey...wow.. I can't breath" she says with a small chuckle. She finally looks at me "I thought you got a swimming suit". I nod "I did, it's just under my cloths". She smiles "oh perfect haha". She pulls my hand "come on, let's go". I smile "alright". I look back at Kyle and he follows us. As we continue to walk I see Katy and Jake in the distance.

"Hey!" I yell out with a huge grin on my face. We run up to them and lay out the towels. I slide out off my cloths, so all I had on was my poka dot bikini. I place my cloths on the towel and I hear Kyle whistle behind me. I turn around to see him smiling. I playfully hit him as I run into the water. Everybody follows behind me. Lilly hits me with a big splash and I let out a small scream. I hit her back with a huge splash. She stumbles back making me let out a laugh.

"My turn" Kyle yells as he hits me with even bigger splash. I fall over and go under water. I quickly jump back up with a huge grin.

"Hey, let's play chicken" I say as I jump on Kyle. He smiles "how do we play?" I widen my eyes "you don't know what chicken is?" He shakes head "nope". I point to Jake "do you know what it is?" He shakes him and so I point to Katy "you?"

"I do" she says with a grin. I motion her to explain "it's when two people get onto somebody else's shoulders and the two people on the top fight".

"Ohh alright, I understand" Kyle says as he goes down and I get on his shoulders. Jake goes down also and Lilly gets on his.

"Are you ready?" Lilly says with a smirk. I give a chuckle "I was born ready!"

"Are you ready. Get mark. Set. Go!!" Katy screams as we try to push each other over. I give a devilish smirk as I touch Lilly's knee making her fall into the water.

She jumps backs up "that's cheating!"

"How?" I say with a grin. She crosses her arms "you know that I'm ticklish there! So, cheating". I shake my head "no, I'm only using my resources". Jake grins and starts to tickle her. She try's to swim away while laughing "stop hahaha stop it". Lilly finally gets out of jakes grasp and swims to shore. We quickly follow her.

I get out of the water and lay down on a towel. Kyle lays down next to me looking at my stomach.

"What?" I say nervously. He points to the huge scar on my stomach "what happened?" I move my arm to cover it "nothing haha, it's unimportant". I give a nervous chuckle. He lays back looking at the sky "is it from that man from yesterday?" I slowly nod and look to the sky "yeah".
The thought of Mark pops into my head so I look at my phone to see if someone texted to get him out of my head and I see a text from a friend. Out of nowhere Kyle randomly shoots up pulling me up with him.

"What? What's wrong?" I question as he pulls everyone up.

"We have to go to the police station"he says. My eyes widen "I completely forgot". I grab my stuff and and he grabs his. We begin to walk away but Lilly pulls me back "Wait for us".

I raise an eyebrow "why? You guys are taking a different car" she pauses then nods "oh yeah haha, you're right". Me and Kyle continue to walk to the car.

"Could we stop at my apartment?" We get to the car and get in "yeah, but are you sure you want to?" I nod "I can't go to the police station in a bikini haha". He scratches the back of his head giving a nervous chuckle "yeah".
