I just don't have the motivation to write this
But if one of you wanted to know what was supposed to happen
I will tell you so you have some peace of mind
So basically, Tord would get the room and just desire for him to have never activated the giant robot
He arrives in the "past", but technically it's just an illusion.
He doesn't really do much at first, but the illusion Tom notices that Tord is acting strange.
He's not being obnoxious, or loud, or rude. He's just so.... Quiet.
So the illusion confronts Tord, and Tord doesn't know what to say, so he just blurts out the first thing that comes to mind.
"I love you"
They both just stand there awkward staring at each other, before Tom storms off, angry and confused.
He goes and gets drunk and comes back. Tord is laying down on the couch watching TV.
Tom then lays with Tord and they have a mushy heart to heart and kiss.
That's when the illusion breaks and Tord becomes more deppressed. He and Tom could have been happier. He spirals into alcohol abuse and completely falls apart. Tom tried to help him, but only makes Tord feel worse. In the end, Tord asks Tom to leave the army for the sake of them, but Tom refuses to leave Tord. So Tom gets the memory erasor gun and wipes Tord's memories and takes him far away from the army.
"Who am I?"
"Tord"
"Who are you?"
"Your husband"
"Oh... Well... You are very beautiful... No wonder I married you"
So then they just live MIA for the rest of their lives.
