After the death of his grandmother, Thorne had moved in with his aunt, and uncle Max and Geraldine Baker. Chris' parents, had taken the young boy in a few days later after finding out the tragic news and that they were now by far the closest living relatives to him.

Thorne had a good sized room on the second floor of their house right besides Chris'. Jane lay on his bed after school reading the essay he'd written for English. Her eyes scanned the laptop screen until she was done, then glanced at Thorne sitting at his desk.

He threw her a hesitant look before she smiled and nodded her head. "It's good, it's actually really good might just copy it myself."

He grinned, then took the three steps it took him to get to the bed and lie down beside her, "ok then I'm done with homework," Thorne sighed, putting both his hands behind his head.

Jane rolled on top of him so she was sitting on his lap. "I dont even know why you're still wearing this,"her hand curled around the tie wrapped around her boyfriend's neck and slipped it off.

She had to lift herself up off his midsection to get the tie off and when she settled back down Thorne groaned adjusting himself. It was suddenly too hot in his room.

"We shouldn't even start doing this," he told Jane, "you know what my aunt's like she'll bust in any second now."

"Yeah with a laundry basket asking for any dirty clothes to wash, but secretly trying to keep an eye on us."

When Jane laid her hands on the buttons of his school shirt Thorne bristled with excitement. He couldn't help the tenderness that washed over him whenever she was close.

They'd been dating for a year and a half and nothing seemed to be able to stop the feelings that still reverberated over him just like the first time they'd started seeing each other.

While teenager's their age, and more specifically Chris and his girlfriend Alice had trouble getting along most of the time, Thorne and Jane never really had any problems in that department. They got on so well sometimes it felt almost surreal the affection he felt for her.

Even now with her hands undoing his shirt, he couldn't help looking up at her and not believing she liked him as much as he did.

Her green eyes sparkled under the rays of sunshine beaming through the large window besides them. She unbuttoned his shirt, then started on her own.

Her white bra could be seen peeking out underneath the fabric before Thorne stopped her.

"Please," he croaked, "I won't be able to stop if we carry on."

He slipped his fingers over her bra feeling the lace pattern but hardly touching her skin. Then getting up Thorne placed her down on the bed away from himself and moved aside.

"We could just make out at the desk again," he said, buttoning his shirt, and looking back at Jane hesitantly.

The smile on her face once again made him question why she felt anything for him let alone the magnetic attraction he saw in her eyes sometimes.

While most people seem to gravitate towards him because of his looks, Jane had gotten over the initial surprise at seeing him for the first time at Chris' house. She had been as cold to him as he had been to her for the first few months of meeting.

He remembered how he'd warmed to her because she had been one of the people who hadn't fawned over him as much as other people had. Even describing him as just plain rude at one point.

While she was unique in some sense she had thankfully proved to be just like most girls her own age - Not at all adverse to Thorne's charms at the end. They had started dating a few weeks after that.

Jane got up from the bed and threw her school blazer on looking more respectable as soon as she had it on. She walked towards the desk, and sat on the chair besides Thorne.

They began making out, wet tongues  circling each other in their mouths.

Jane wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck pulling him closer "I love you so much," she murmured, in between little flitting butterfly kisses on Thorne's cheek.

He held her tight, placing his warm hands on her bare legs and moving them up slowly underneath her skirt. His fingers combed through her silky hair, pushing it backwards into a mess.

Their lips smacked together making kissing noises as they continued.

Which is just the moment they heard knocking outside the door.

Geraldine Baker never stormed into any room without knocking ever since both her boys, as she liked to think them, had started dating. Whilst giving them their privacy no one was going to make her a young grandma at forty-one.

So it was with trepidation that every time one of them spent too long in their room she would head upstairs to see what was what in her household.

Thorne opened the door seconds later and Geraldine peaked her head inside the room. Noticing the bed was mostly made as she had left it this morning was mildly comforting, but she noticed both the kids bruised mouths and messy hair.

"Hey guys only me," his aunt said, smiling sweetly. "I was wondering if you were staying for tea tonight love," she asked the girl with half the buttons of her shirt undone.

"No thanks Mrs. Baker," Jane shook her head, "my mum's expecting me home."

"In fact I should go, it's already getting late," She said, picking her rucksack off the floor. "Could you walk me home Thorne."

"Yeah, course," he said, getting up and throwing his coat on. They both left the room, trudging down the stairs.

Was it something I said Geraldine thought, breathing a sigh of relief. Despite realising the amount of mischief they could probably still get up to outside the house, as long as it wasn't on her watch she thought even while knowing how absurd that was.
