Chapter Seven

"Mother?" I ask with confusion

I turn around to see if Liam is still there and he is. He looks just as shocked as me.

I can't believe what i see right now, i feel as this is all just a dream.

"Ava sweetie" She walks up to me

I should be mad at her but i miss her more than anything. I know i need to tell her straight, she can't just come back into my life like this when she couldn't even dare to accept my calls.

"Don't come near me. You call yourself a mother when you can't even answer your own daughters text or calls even when she's only just come out from rehab. I have missed you and dad so much but you couldn't even send me more money when i needed it, buy me a home when i needed to live somewhere. I couldn't do anything but turn into a thieve. If you think that's me being a bad daughter then you're wrong, you're the bad person! You see this gentlemen behind me? Well i don't know where i would be right now if it wasn't for him. He is the one that has been giving me food, giving me somewhere to stay and buying me everything i could possibly want." I spit. How did my mood just suddenly change? Damn.

"Yes darling and i'm so sorry for everything! I didn't mean for any of this to happen, i swear. And of course i know Liam, he's a sweetheart" she sure has been picking up the posh british accent.

Wait.. how does she know his name?

"Wait how do you know his name?" I ask

"Me and his mum are really good friends, we always have been. I grew up with her then moved to America when i was 9 years old, but we've always been in touch and she introduced me to Liam when he was born. I've told you this story many times." Why does she think everything is okay.

"Mom, i don't listen to your stupid stories! I was to busy hanging out and having fun with my friends, even my boyfr-" I stop talking immediately as realise what I'm saying aloud.

I look to turn around and he doesn't look bothered.

Thank god.

"Ava give up with your attitude, i know everything me and your father did was wrong and we are so sorry for that." She is getting on my last fucking nerve now.

"Give up? What, like you gave up on me? You think like you can just stand there and worm your way back in?" I try to hold my tears in

"You think my life is easy, don't you? Just because i'm out of, what should i call it.. Hell? You suddenly think everything is alright? No mom, i have priorities too!" I continue

She doesn't say anything.

"That's what i thought!" I sigh and walk back to Liam's car.

Liam doesn't know what to say either.

The car ride back is silent. I wish i was a mind reader, therefore, i would know how everyone was feeling ugh. 

 "We're here" Liam finally breaks the silence

I smile awkwardly and get out of the car.

We both don't really know what to say, he still looks like he's in shock, but so am i.

Liam opens the boot and gets some bags out and i do the same. I hope things don't stay the way they are now.

As me and Liam start walking to the entrance door, Harry comes outside and takes some bags of us both. He's still helpful. 

"There is a lot of stairs" I'm out of breath

"I know" Harry replies quietly

I'm waiting for Liam to reply but he just turns to me, smiles and then turns back round.
