DISGRACE
~
you do shit on purpose
you get mad and you break things
feel bad, try to fix things~
Giovanni's POVI smashed everything in my line of fire.
Once she walked out, I knew I had to go after her but I couldn't run after her. I didn't want it to seem like I cared when I do but I shouldn't. I wanted to scoop her up while she was walking away and bring her back in the house but my subconscious told me I can't give in. Rico's still watching. I can't let him do the same to her. The only thing I could do was smash everything so that brings us back to now.
I leaned my elbows onto my knees with my head in my hands, thinking. I was shaking fiercely and I didn't know what to do. She had only left 45 minutes ago and It felt like she's been gone for hours.
For some reason, I felt Dahlia's presence around me. Something in my heart is telling me to go after her but I can't risk him hurting her too. These past 3 days has practically been hell for me. Celeste is a beautiful girl but I don't want to get her into something she shouldn't be in.
She has a baby for god's sake, go get her! My subconscious yells.
With that being said, I jumped up out of my seat and ran to the door. I grabbed the key to my red Infiniti Q50. Speeding down the way, I pulled to a stop at an intersection. A small car was stopped the opposite from me and because I just got there, they had the right away to go first. So, I sat there impatiently as he slowly crossed over.
But thankfully he did because if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have looked to my left and saw Celeste laying under a sign by some bushes, cradling Dro while they were fast asleep. I put my car in park so quick, it jerked forwards a bit as I slung my door open.
I didn't hesitate to scoop Dro up first and set him in the car in a booster seat I have for my niece who's around the same age as Dro.
After buckling him up, I turned around expecting to see Celeste still fast asleep but was met face to face with a very angry Celeste. She connected her hand to my cheek before I could even blink.
I can't even be mad at her, I slammed the door in her baby's face but I promise you I didn't do it on purpose. It is then I see that tears are flowing down her face. Still can't blame her.
When she noticed that I wasn't going to hit her back or anything, she took that as an advantage to swing again but this time, I caught her before it connected. She looked at my hand holding her wrist horrified by my quick reflexes.
