Chapter 1

I was sitting on the couch with my best friend Jodie and her boyfriend Darnell. We were watching The Purge, well, I was watching it while Jodie and Darnell were swapping spit with each other. I got up and turned off the tv before turning to face them.
"I'm going to sleep. I don't expect to see mini Jodies and Darnells running around tomorrow morning." I said to them with a slight smirk.
"I make no promises." Darnell smirked, only to get hit in the chest by Jodie.
I chuckled at the both of them and headed up the stairs to my room. Do I have a boyfriend? No. Do I need one? the answer to that is also a no. I used to have a boyfriend but he was killed by a rival gang. 'Did I get revenge? Hell yes.
I stripped down to my underwear and threw my clothes into the dirty hamper. I clambered into my warm, comforting bed and fell straight asleep.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
I groaned and smacked my alarm before sitting up and rubbing my eyes. I yawned, as I stretched my arms and legs before getting out of bed. I went into my bathroom and freshened before retreating back to my room. I slipped on a black lace bra with a matching thong. I then changed into a white see-through tank top with a white bandeau underneath and a red pencil skirt, along with my white and gold sandals. I put my hair in a messy bun and tied an orange bandana in my hair. I coated my lips with a soft pink lip stick and then lashed on a coat of mascara. Once I was satisfied with my look, I headed downstairs and made myself some breakfast. Jodie came downstairs five minutes after me with Darnell trailing behind her.
"Morning." I greeted them.
"Morning."
After I finished my breakfast I brushed my pearly white teeth and then set off for school with Jodie and Darnell.
When we arrived Jodie and I got the usual stares from boys and the glares from girls. That's one of the perks of being me. I went to my locker and put in my combination. I took out my books, only to have them knocked out of my hands by the person I despise most. Danielle.
"Oops." She said with a wicked smirk.
I rolled my eyes at her and picked up my books but she knocked them out of my arms. AGAIN. I picked them up and looked at her.
"You really shouldn't do that." I said.
"What, this?" She smirked before knocking my books out of my arms yet again.
I grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against my locker.
"If you do that ever again I will not hesitate to knock you out within a heartbeat. Do you understand me?" I hissed at her with venom oozing from my voice.
She nodded her head quickly and I smirked with satisfaction. I let go of her and collapsed to the ground, trying to catch her breath. The warning bell rang and I picked up my books before heading off to class like nothing happened.
