"Zach, remember Loren is here" I said

Then Corbyn appeared from god knows where and gave me another glass of wine, this one might be my sixth glass and I'm still sober, I think
"Corbs are you sure you're okay?" I asked
"Yep, I'm not drunk, I swear" he said
"Okay, I'm going to believe you" I said and he walked away to talk to some girls
"Look who we have here" someone said behind me
"Hello?" I said
"Jack asshole Avery, the one that I've been waiting to see" said Reece

"I'm not going to hurt you" he said
"I'm sorry" I said
"What?" He asked shocked

"Why?" He asked
"For everything" I said
"You broke her, you made her cry more than she has ever cried" he said and that broke me

"Do you know how much times I had to stay with her to make sure she doesn't try anything" He asked
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Sit down boy, I'm going to tell you something you can't tell ANYONE" he said

"A few years ago, in 2014 Mia wasn't the Mia you know" he said
"What do you mean?" I asked
"she would do drugs, go to parties everyday, cut her wrists, and she even tried to kill herself plenty of times, let's just say it was hard to protect her" he said looking down
"Wow" I said
"but no matter how many parties I had to pick her up from, how many times I hid her drugs and knives, how many times she made me fight people or how many times I had to take her to urgencies because she tried to commit suicide, I loved and love her with my everything. And when you did that, everything that we built up went down and all because you decided to kiss some girl" he said, there were tears running down his face, and in mine too
"Why didn't she told to me before?" I asked
"Because no one but you, my parents, Mia and me know about this" he said
"Reece, where's Blake" Mia said appearing from behind us
"I don't know, I'll go to look for him but now Jack has something to tell you" he said and winked at me
"Um, sure" she said confused and he left
