Alex's POV

I sat in my room getting ready for the first day this summer. I put on shorts over my black bikini bottoms, and a muscle-t over my black top. I grabbed a bag and stuffed it with clothes, then a towel, because I was going to spend a few days at my friend Katie's house while my parents are out of town for awhile. I heard her horn outside and I rushed downstairs and out the door and locked it. I jumped into her blue Jeep, then we went to go pick up our friends, Max and Anthony. After we picked them up we drove to the beach.

We spent most of our time in the water, playing in the waves. After a few hours I got out, telling them I'm going for a walk.

I wandered down the beach, until I came to the starting of a gigantic Forrest. I decided to walk through the woods to be by myself and get the sun off me for awhile. I walked for a mile or two and saw a break in the woods where a two story cabin was. I then made the courageous decision to walk up to it, but a gorgeously, stunning man walked out. I stopped and admired his features. He had black hair, styled perfectly, amazing muscles, and stunning facial features. He approached me putting his hand on my arm then immediately taking it off, and said, "You need to leave." His voice sounded like angels playing the perfect melody, but he meant it like something terrible could happen if I stayed any longer. I agreed and turned to walk back. I turned back around, once in the beginning of the woods, to see him one more time before I left, but he was already in a car and leaving.

I walked for ten minutes and made it back to my friends. They had never even got out since I went on my walk. I didn't feel like getting back into the water, so instead I laid out and tanned. Half an hour went by and I felt a few drops of water on fall on me. At first I thought it was just one of my friends, but then I realized it was supposed to rain today. Then the rain got heavier. Katie and all the boys got out of the water. We grabbed our stuff and ran for the jeep. Katie tried and tried and tried to start her jeep, but it would never start. No one knew what to do, but then I had the idea of going back to the cabin only ten minutes away. I told my friends and we all jumped out of the jeep and ran towards the Forrest and to the cabin. When we got there surprisingly the door was unlocked and we went in. It took us four minutes to get there. As we all walked in we gasped in amazement over how beautiful the inside of the house was. My friends asked, "Who owns this place?"

"I don't know. I found this place when I went for a walk."

We all separated and found a room to hang out in. They stayed in the main room, but I went upstairs. I found this one bedroom that was Forrest green with a brown bed. It had a window with a built-in bench. It had a beautiful view of the woods. While looking out the window, a woman approached me and started asking questions about me. She asked, "How old are you?"

"Seventeen."

"Where are you from?"

"Umm... North Carolina."

"What brought you to California?"

I yawned then responded, " My parents moved here."

"Alright. I can tell you are tired, so I'm going to let you get some sleep." She said with a cheeky smile. After about five minutes of staring outside at the rain, I got into the brown bed that was in the room.
