"Kiera!!!!!Kiera!!!Kier-" Cat called out from her office.
"-Sorry Ms Grant I overslept I had a busy night last night. A lot happend and I... I'm sorry" Kara explained as she put her things down on her desk. And handed Cat her coffee she had gotten from Nunans like usual.
"I don't care about your personal life kiera I pay you to work not to tell me your life story." Cat scolded
"Anyway I need you to go interview Lena Luther. She's new to national city and she needs to know who's in charge...Me." Cat explained.
"What do I interview her about? She hasn't done anything."
"Yet. She's a Luther. She's always up to something. Ask her how she feels about her brother being in jail.... Ooh. And take Clark Kent with you. I know he's around here somewhere. I can feel his manly presance. It changes the feel in this building. You sould bring him more often."
"Ew." kara said to herself as she walked to find her cousin Clark and go interview Lena Luther.
Later at L corp
"I have a bad feeling about this Kara. She's Lex's sister. She's a Luther. She's bad news." Clark wisperd to kara as they were escorted to the CEO's office. Stopping just outside the door.
"Why is everyone judging her just because of her last name, when they havn't even met her yet. She's just trying to run a successful buisness, witch I might add is a very hard thing to do. Her last name doesn't define who she is...." Kara increasingly got louder as she spoke. Suddenly the door opened revealing the CEO of L corp, Lena Luther.
She was smiling having heard everything kara just said.
"Hello. Welcome to L corp. How can I help you today." She spoke smoothly. The sun coming in to the room hitting The CEO's long raven hair. Sending slivers of gold throughout her hair making her even more beautiful than she already was.
After the interview
Lena aproched kara after the interview. Clark left to do super things.
"Not many people feel that way about me or at least my family. I appreciate that." Lena said sencerly.
"Well I understand. Its hard to make a name for yourself outside your family. Especially if people look at them and expect you to act a certain way and do certain things. When its really not who you are. And I get that." kara commented thinking about her own family and the way she feels.
Lena smiled and nodded in an understanding way.
"It's nice to have someone who understands." She paused. "I think we're going to be good friends." the pair smiled and looked into each others eyes.
"Well I should probably catch up with...." kara trailed off.
"Yeah" Lena finished. "Well anytime you need anything I'm here ok."
"Yeah me too." Kara said her goodbyes and caught up with Clark.
"I still think she's bad news." Clark warned and went on but his warnings fell upon deaf ears as kara just thaught about Lena. And how they understood each other. They were indeed going to be good friends.
