part three: I know

Months later
Kara and Lena have gotten closer and closer ever since their first meeting. They have little lunch dates every week. And calibrate little victories together.
Lena still doesnt know that Kara is actually supergirl. There have been occasional little mistakes that Kara was able to clear up "smoothly".
There was a threat in the city so naturally Kara flew over to see what was going on. There was a huge alien breaking havoc on the city and innocent people. She tried to fight it but it was too strong. It seriously hurt her. She was rushed to the DEO by Alex and jhon to be taken care of.
"Kara!! Wake up! Please wake up! I can't loose you." Alex pleaded.
Kara just layed there unconscious not moving.
Days later
Lena was starting to worry about kara. She hasn't seen her in days. She left another message on Kara phone.
"Kara... Its..its Lena. I'm worried about you. You've been gone for days. I need to know if your ok. Jus...just tell me that your ok." Lena said into the phone worry clear in her voice.
"Please just tell me your ok." Lena wisperd to herself.
Lena had noticed that supergirl was missing but she just assumed that she was off world doing something. She didn't think much of it until she remembered all the little slip ups kara had made like "oh its ok. I flew here... On a bus." and kara leaving seconds before supergirl showed up. And never having seen kara and supergirl together at the same time. All these things suddenly fit together, like pieces of a child's puzzle. It was so simple and obvious how could she not have noticed months ago.
Then Lena remembered. Supergirl had got into a bad fight a couple days ago. Right around the time kara whent missing. Then the realization hit her. Kara is hurt. She is hurt bad. With the shock and worry her body was going through she droped her phone. She needed to see kara.
She rushed over to the DEO as fast as she could. She was stopped by guards but she tried to push past them. All the ruckus she was making thaught Alex over.
"Hey. Hey what's going on here?" Alex asked
"Kara. I need to see kara." Lena said desperately
Alex looked shocked but quickly hid it.
"Kara's out of town visiting family. She didn't tell you?" Alex coverd
"Alex I know....Let me see her." Lena said desperately
Alex just nodded and told the guards to go.
"How do you know?" Alex asked
"Kara goes missing just as supergirl gets hurt. And the glasses? They don't do much. "
"I know that's what I said. They don't hide anything." Alex agreed.
As Lena and Alex arrived at karas bedside Lena became worried.
"Kara! Kara there you are." Lena said softly.
"Can...can I have a moment?" Lena asked Alex
Alex nodded and gestured for all the guards to go aswell.
Lena sat down and stroked karas hair. "Kara please wake up. I was so worried about you. You are my only friend in national city. You can't leave me. That's what everyone does, they leave after they get what they want, they don't care. But you... You care. You....you are my best friend. I... I love you. So please come back to me." Lena said with tears in her eyes.
Just as Lena finished speaking kara moved. And started to wake up.
"Mmmhhhmm. Lena... what happend?" kara asked her voice gravelly
"shhh. Its ok. Kara. I'm here."Lena cooed
" kara??" kara asked confused.
"I know your supergirl... Kara"
"How?" kara asked.
"It wasn't so hard to put all the pieces together. You slipped up a lot." Lena said
"I'm so sorry. I-" "shhh. Its ok. I understand. I'm not mad. I love you."Lena interrupted.
"You... You what?" kara asked
"I love you. I didn't realize until you went missing. But when you did. My life stoped. And I... I couldn't." " shhh. Its ok. I love you too." kara interrupted.
Kara leaned up and kissed Lena gently on her lips. And pulled away shortly. Lena and kara exchanged smiles and Lena kissed kara again, passionately.
"I love you." Lena said to kara. She is happier than she has ever been. With kara safe in her arms. They fell asleep together. Knowing that nothing could ever separate them ever again.
