Ethan was wandering in the dust through the battlefield trying to find his friends. Little did he know that three of his friends were already gone and 1 close to it. There were holes from explosions everywhere and little splotches of blood. Ethan was worried sick and had a twisted feeling in his stomach. Ethan then saw something through the fog. There was another crater with a strange lump in it, that being Maddie. She was curled into a ball. She was shaking and you could hear quiet sobs coming from her. "Ethan? Is that you?" Maddie asked as she looked up. "Maddie?! Are you okay?" Ethan questioned. He ran down the crater and crouched beside Maddie. She was clutching her chest. Then he saw the blood leaking from her shirt. "James died as he set off the last explosion. Nick died trying to stop him. Aaron is nowhere to be found." She sobbed. "Where's Tristan?" Ethan suddenly asked. "O-over there." She stuttered pointing shakily to another crater. "I'll be right back to help you I just need to check on Tristan." Ethan panicked. Ethan ran over to the crater. Tristan was laying on his stomach with a pool of blood around him. "TRISTAN!" Ethan screamed. Tristan didn't respond. Ethan ran to him. Ethan didn't know what to do. He stayed frozen for a bit then flipped Tristan on his back. Tristan eyes were closed and had tears streaming from them. He was taking shaky shallow breaths and his heart beats were starting to get sluggish. Tristan tried to speak but all that came out was a croak. Ethan knew Maddie had healing powers so he took Tristan over to her. As Ethan carefully approached, Maddie heard. Maddie knew what Ethan wanted so she placed her bloody hand on his chest. Blue and pink streams of magic flooded from her hand. Tristan winced as the stream stopped. His chest slowly started to rise faster than before. But what Tristan and Ethan didn't know was that healing took effect on the person with the magic. Maddie shook more then collapsed. Ethan knew that he could not save her. She was already so close to death. Ethan tried his best but the dose of magic she used was to much. Tristan looked up at his savior, Ethan. "Thank you Ethan." Not realizing what happened to Maddie. Ethan started to sob. Only then did Tristan look at the body sprawled across Ethan's legs. They both had adored her and would miss her very much. But Ethan didn't want to greave at the sight, and then pulled Tristan close. Then he drew a hand upon Tristan's cheek and kissed him passionately. Tristan kissed back.

Ok so basically this is a timeline where James turns evil. Everyone, consisting of Maddie, Tristan, Aaron, Ethan, and Nick, all try to stop him causing a big war. Everybody in this timeline has magic, for instance Maddie has healing magic. All magic comes with a disadvantage for the person wielding the power. Like when Maddie loses some of her health when healing causing the fact she can't heal herself.The war lasts for days. Eventually the ground is ruined after the huge battle. Everybody but Maddie, Ethan, and Tristan are left. Most of the fighters current states are unknown. Ethan has had feelings for Tristan for a long time. Ethan knew that Maddie would rather have Tristan live then both her and Tristan die. So she uses what's left of her strength to heal Tristan, killing her. Ethan was so overwhelmed with joy and has already accepted the fact that Maddie died. Since he is so overwhelmed with joy he ignores the fact that Maddie is gone and is happy one of his friends survived the horrid battle. Which is why Ethan and Tristan kissed at the end.
Okay, that was just something stupid I wanted to write. It doesn't really matter. So it's not apart of the actual fanfic timeline just a little side story. This is going to have a lot of grammatical errors and is not going to make sense. Just something stupid. ~Author~Sama out
