Picturesque. A word can't possibly describe your life better than that of picturesque. Everything from the white picket fence in your yard to the pink bows in your six year old daughter's hair is the ideal for most people of what a family should be like. You are married to the man you love, you have your dream job as a photographer, and your child is your favorite person in the whole wide world. You are happy, which is more than other women in their late twenties can say, and you are grateful for that.
As a photographer, you know something picturesque when you see it.
Unfortunately, you know that even though something may be picturesque—
There's no guarantee that it's perfect.
And even more unfortunately for you—
Your life is picturesque, but it is far from perfect. And you don't even notice until one day, you walk into your photography studio to see the boy who broke your heart all those years ago.
And suddenly, you're not so happy anymore.
