Yes I did it. Yes I asked Jenevieve Cooper out. It was during reading, the last class of the day, I had it with Jenevieve, and Willow was in a different class. It was the perfect time. She was sitting alone in her desk, when I decided to walk over. Mrs. Wasleske was too busy reading her book to notice, and I think she's a little deaf. I sat in the seat next to Jenevieve. At first she looked at me, but then went back to reading. I pretended to clear my throat to get her attention. She looked up at me again, except, she looked as if she had just seen a clown. She started smiling, like she wanted to laugh.

" What do you want", she said with that beautiful smile on her face.

" Um.. I wanted to ask you something.", I told her. She looked confused, but she kept on smiling. That was one of the things I liked about her. She smiled a lot, and she was really nice, and kind, and polite, and pretty.

" Yeah....what?", she asked. She held her book in her hand so fragile, like if she'd let it go, it would break.

" Uhh..ok ummm....Do you...um...would you like to..go.....out....with.....me?", I asked her, unsure of my words. I bet I looked like a desparate puppy. But girls dig that..right?

She starred at me, with her face in blush. Her smile got brighter, like she'd wanted to laugh, but I couldn't tell if that was a good sign.

" First, not really, and umm....second, it's kind of the third day of school, and third, you interupted me while I was reading", She said.

My heart broke. I felt rejected. She wasn't mean,......she just didn't like me.
