Sasha never came back to my apartment the morning after the club. She doesn't live with me, but her house keys and purse are here so i expected her to at least call to tell me when she was coming to pick it up. Going home with a female is nothing new for Sasha. She always ends up leaving and then coming back to my house at 10am or at the latest 12:00pm. It's going on 3:50pm. I'm trying not to panic and i pick up my cell phone and dial her number. The phone goes straight to voicemail. I redial her number and the same thing happens. After the fifth try i give up and decide to call Nina. "Hello?" "Hey. Have you heard from Sasha?" I ask. "No. She never came back after i left this morning?" "No. I don't know what to do. She always calls the morning after to see if i'm up so she can get her stuff." Nina says "Call her mom, and after you speak to her hit me up and tell me what she says." "Alright bye."

I dial my aunt Sherrie's number. She picks up on the second ring. "Hello?" "Hey auntie its Tina. i was calling because i want to know if you heard from Sasha today." "I haven't baby, weren't you two together last night?" she asks "We were but Nina told me she left my apartment after they got me into bed. She always calls me the morning after to tell me when shes coming to get her stuff, but it's going on four and i still haven't heard from her." "Alright. I'm going to make some phone calls. You call the hospitals, and i'll call the jails and family." Oh shit aunty sending out the troops. I feel like maybe i'm being dramatic. Sasha is a grown woman and maybe she really likes whoever she went home with, and maybe right now they're cuddled up in bed. Maybe she has a extreme hangover and the girl is taking care of her. I'm saying anything at this point to convince myself she's ok. Germantown, Abbington, and Einstein don't have any records of a Sasha Bolden. I almost forgot about Chestnut Hill Hospital, which is 2.0 miles away from her house in West Oak Lane. I dial the number with shaky hands.

"Chestnut Hill Emergency. How may i help you?" "Hi. I'm looking for my sister (lying). Her name is Sasha Bolden. Do you have her?" " Please hold." The phone goes silent for ten minutes." "Hello?" Says the operator "Yes. we have her here. Luckily her ID was in her bra." I began spewing out questions faster then she can answer. "What happened? Is she ok? is it serious?"  "She's in stable condition. She was found last night at 4:05am on the corner of Stenton and washington lane. I have in my record that she is the victim of a hit and run." Oh my God. I can't believe what i'm hearing. On all the nights things could possibly go bad, why last night? I brush my teeth, wash my face and head out to my car.
