Warning: slight angst and dirty minded Kirishima ahead
-----------------------------

Hiding was easier said than done when some of your strongest friends were villains, villains who got a head start.

Villains that were unfairly smarter than they would be if they didnt all know eachother as well as they did.

Which they did.

That was exactly the reason that led Kirishima into this embarrasing moment.

---1 hour ealier---

"Jesus fuck, where did those idiots go?" Bakugo growled out quietly to the red haired boy laying on the ground to look through a small hole in the tall building's wall.

"They said that they were going out to look for Tokoyami and the others so the hero teams would be stronger than we would be on our own. Good strategy right?" Kirishima replied, squinting as some structures collasped in the distance.

He clearly heard the blond scoff before he heard ruffling, assuming Bakugo was walking away, his eyes went wide as a new heat joined his side.

"Move over, I want to fucking see too."

Kirishima swallowed and pushed himself off the floor. "Sure," he walked towards the door."I'm going to check if anyone is back yet." Kirishima would have seen the nerved glint in deep red orbs if he didnt leave when he did.

As the heavy door closed behind him, Kirishima let out a deep breathe, calming himself before looking down the dark hallway, a little disappointed that his friends weren't back yet. The red headed man was fine around his explosive crush when the others were with them, but now he doesnt have any distractions. Even though Kirishima knew full well that this was a test that he should be focusing on,ash blond fluffy hair continued to cloud his mind.

Their team had chosen to hide in one of the few skyscrapers, staying on a level just a little less than half way to the top. It seemed like an hour had gone by before his friends went off to find the rest of the hero teams. He knew that they actually just wanted to leave since Bakugo was getting restless, even with the many comments of it being a better idea to hide out until they knew where most of the villains were.

After a few moments of no one showing up, Kirishima sighed and opened the door once more to see Bakugo now standing at one of the pillars, which he clearly didnt remember seeing a crack in before.

"What took you so god damn long, we have shit to do." The man growled at him, the bite in it suprising Kirishima.

Well that's new.

"Calm down, I was just waiting for them," he sighed, adjusting his hero costumes sleeve(made of 100% bf material). "I think they might be caught up in a fight somewhere." Kirishima walked past him and began to lay back on the floor to check out the situations outside. He could feel Bakugo's burning glare on him as he moved. Ignoring the rapid beating of his heart, the red haired man's attention was drawn to a massive dirt cloud coming their way, parts of what he assumed was other buildings flew out of it as though it were a Hurricane.

With wide, terrified eyes Kirishima jumped to his feet faster than he ever had and turned, body hardening on reflex. "Bakugo!" His voice broke as he screamed, reaching out to his confused friend, watching realization cross his face as the wall behind Kirishima shattered, rumble of all sizes hitting him, and he knew it was nothing prepared to come.

Time seemed to slow down as Bakugo reached out too, their bodies colliding as time started up again, screams ricocheting as they fell through the floors, chunks of buidling falling with them.
