You've Got That One Thing♥

Chapter 2

~ONE WEEK LATER~

We finally finished our 3rd year of college and it's our official first day of our 4 month summer. Niall isn't staying with us anymore, but he asked for our numbers so I guess he wants to hang out with us sometime. He only stayed with us for two days. I don't know why, but i kind of miss him and I know Ariel does they were starting to be really good friends. I hear my phone ring and it's Niall. Why would he call me? He's better friends with Ariel. I pick up the phone anyways and answer it. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey. It's Niall. I was just wondering if I could stay with you girls for the summer? Your alot more fun than my aunt. haha." 

"Umm.. sure? I guess. I know ariel won't care. So just come any time." 

"Okay. Thanks. Is today good?"

"Yah.. thats fine."

"Okay. See you soon." 

I hear the phone call end and I go to tell Ariel. I have mixed feeling about him coming back over. I only said "yes" because i know Ariel would hate me forever. I head down stairs and see Ariel cooking! I run over to her and push her our of the way.

"What are you doing?" 

"Im cooking bacon!"

"Remeber the last time you cooked! You gave me food poisening and almost burnt down the house!" 

"well.. I've gotten better by watching you! Please! You can watch my every move!" she says giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Fine! But, if you burn down the house.. you are paying for it!" I shove the tongs into her stomach and watch her very carefully as she cooks. 

Surprisingly she doesn't burn down the house and the bacon is acually really good. I hear the doorbell ring and Ariel goes to answer it. The next thing i know i hear screaming. I run over the door and see Ariel squeazing the death out of Niall. Shoot, I forgot to tell Ariel about Niall coming over to stay with us for the summer. 

"Niall! I didn't know you were comoing by!"

"Well I asksed Caitlyn if I could stay with you girl for the rest of the summer and she said yes."

 I go over to them and interupt there hug fest.

"Sorry! i forgot to tell you. It just completely slipped my mind and i was disstracted by your cooking!" 

"Oh shuttup! Come in Niall! You can put your stuff back in the extra room."

He goes upstairs and puts his stuff in the room. Ariel pulls me off to the side. 

"Why in the world didn't you tell me he was going to be here?" she yells in a whisper.

"I forgot!"

"Why didn't he call me.. You dont even like him and you never talk to him!"

"I don't know?"

"He totally likes you!" Ariels says teasing me.

"He does not like me and I don't like him! How many times do I have to say that!"

"whatev-" Ariel cuts off because Niall comes walking in.

"Ohh.. sorry. Am I interupting something."Niall says.

"No.. your fine." Ariel says to him. 

We go back to eating to the kitchen to eat. I saw just awkwardly sitting there while they catch up. I try and not to talk to Niall as much as possible, but he always wants to bring me in their conversation.
