Chapter 4

*TWO DAYS LATER* 

Me and Niall haven't really talked since that day we went out together. I don't like him, but it makes me mad that he hasn't talked to me since then. Im also kind of jealous about how close him and Ariel are getting. What if he takes my place as her best friend. I don't ever want that to happen. I decide to clear my mind by going on a walk. I grab my wallet and sunglasses and storm out of the house. Before I walk out i hear Ariel.

"Where are you going?" Ariel asks. She sounds alittle worried. 

"For a walk." I walk the scond after i tell her. 

What's going on with me? Do I have feelings for him? I can't. I have this whole image of all celbrities. I can't date one. But, maybe he's isn't like all the other celebrities. He's different. He's more down to earth and himself. I get lost in thought and realize tht i've been knocked over. 

"ohh .. owww." I put my hand to my head and it feels like im going ot have a big bruise there. I see a hand in front of me and I grab it. 

"Im soo sorry. i didn't see you there." a voice says to me.

"No it's.." I look up to see a very handsome guy infront of me. He had black hair and hazel eyes. He was look very muscular. "Umm... it's my fault. I wasn't paying attention." I continue my sentence. 

"Are you okay?" He asks me. 

"My head hurts alittle, but im fine." 

"Let me help you. umm.. would you care to join me for coffee?" 

"Sure." I give him a flirty smile. we walk to the nearest coffee shop and sit down at the table. 

"My name is Zach. What's yours?" he asks staring righ tin my eyes. 

"Umm.. my name is... um.." 

"Are you sure your okay?" 

"Yahh.. sorry. My name is caitlyn." 

We sit there and talk for what feels lke hours. He was very funny and sweet. He pays for my coffee, which i ddin't want him to do. I start ot think about what Brittany would say about him, then Niall comes flowing back into my brain. I get alittle disapointed. 

"Are you okay?"

"Ohh. yah im fine. It's getting late I should probably go." 

"Let me walk you home."

"Okay." I smile at him. We head out of the coffee shop and walk to the house. the walk there was very fun. He would crack jokes and i would laugh at them. I would think Brittany will be proud of how flirty I was being. We finally get to the front of my door and I was kind of dissapointed the day was over. 

"Umm.. Would you like to go to dinner with me tomorrow night?" he sounded nervous when he asked me. 

"Yes.. Yes i would love to." 

"Great! Ill pick you up at 7?" 

"Sounds good. see you tomorrow." 

He bends down and kisses my cheek. I can feel my face red turning red. 

"See you tomorrow." He walked off. 

I open the door and fall on top of the couch. Today was acually a very good day. I guess it can show on my face because Ariel starts to thow all these questions at me. 

"Soo.. Im guessing you had a good day?" 

"I sure did." Im smiling fiercly. 

"What happened?" 

I tell her every single detail that happened. It was awkward becuase Niall was in the same room listening to everything I say. But, I ignore him as much as possible. I take a look at Niall and he look alittle mad. Why would he be mad? He doesn't have any feelings for me. Or does he? Well he had his chance if he did. He didn't talk to me for two whole days. That's his fault, if he wanted to to ask me on a date he should've. Not saying that I would say "yes" , but stil he could've just asked. I finished telling her and Ariel started freaking out.

"Oh my gosh! Caitlyn! What are you going to wear? Oh my gosh! I need to meet him. Afterall you need my approval if your going to date him!" Ariel says really excited. 

"OH my gosh! We need to go shoping! Where you guys going? Do you like him?" 

"woooooahh. Ariel calm down. It's just a date. Im sure i have something to wear and yah... i think i do." i say to her trying to calm her down. 

"eeeppppp! Im soo excited for you! let go upstairs and plan out your oufit!" She grabs my hand and draggs me upstairs.

NIALL'S POV

I haven't talked to Caitlyn in two days. I just don't know what to say to her. She seems like she doesn't like me and she wants nothing to do with me. But, that day with her was so fun and i think she liked me. I don't know. She probably doesn't like me at all. She came home today talking about this guy she met today. I admit im jealous and mad. I wish i was the guy she was going out with tommorrow. I suppose it my fault. I didn't talk to her for two days. I had my chance, but i messed it up. I really like her, but she proabably doesn't feel the same for me. They both went upstairs to pick an outfit for her date. I just sat there and flipped through the channels. About an hour goes by and Caitlyn came down in this beautiful outfit. 

"what do you think of the outfit?" Ariel asks.

"you look... Beautiful." I say just looking at her. 

"thank you." She says shyly. 

I can see her starting ot blush a little bit. She is soo cute when she blushes. She goes back upstairs and i wait a while and go upstairs to talk to her. I open her door and see her on the computer. 

"Don't you know how to knock?" 

"Yeah i do."

"Well how did you know that i wasnt naked or something?"

"Well i just thought you weren't"

"Anyways what did you need?"

"I just umm.. wanted to talk."

"About?"

"Your date."  

"Why do you want to know?"

"I was just wondering." 

We sat there is silence for a little bit, but i built up the courage and asked her some questions. 

"So whats his name?"

"Zach."

"Do you know him?" 

"No.. I just met him today." 

"OHH." 

There was more awkwrd silence. 

"Well.. im going ot go to sleep Niall. ill talk to you later."

"Alright goodnight." i walk out of the room. 

What was that Niall?! You could've told her that you liked her? I walk to my room dissapointed and fall on top of the bed. I stare at the ceiling for awhile and i fall asleep.
