The mesmerizing London show, Les Miserable's is a complete musical treat for theatre lovers. is adapted from the epic novel by Victor Hugo. The show has become world's longest-running musical and still loved by people from all across the globe. The show is running with packed houses from the last three decades. In the year1985, the show made its grand debut and opened with lukewarm reviews. The show is transferred from the Barbican to the Palace Theatre, and finally settled at the current residency, the Queen's Theatre.
The story of Les Miserable's is set against the backdrop of French revolution. The show revolves around the plight of ex-convict Jean Val jean and his struggles to escape from his haunted past. The show features a mesmerising a book and chartbusting composition by duo Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, known for writing smash-hit Miss Saigon and Martin Guerre.
Les Miserable's features some of the famous numbers including "I Dreamed a Dream", "On My Own", "Stars", "Bring Him Home", "Do You Hear the People Sing?", "Master of the House", "A Little Fall of Rain" and the show-stopping "One Day More". Trevor Nunn and John Caird, originally adapted and directed the show with lyrics by Herbert Kreutzer, set design by John Napier, costume design by Adriane Neofitou, lighting design by David Hersey and sound design by Mick Potter and Andrew Bruce.
