The story of Les Miserable's is set against the backdrop of French revolution. The show revolves around the plight of ex-convict Jean Val jean and his struggles to escape from his haunted past. The show features a mesmerising a book and chartbusting composition by duo Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, known for writing smash-hit Miss Saigon and Martin Guerre.
