"Run" was all she could say before we were tossed away because of the massive explosion behind us.
I lay in the dirt, maniacally laughing as I lift myself off of the ground and dust myself and immediately break into a sprint.
She glanced back at the wrathful fire that was raging just a few strides away and soon followed suit, running after me, "Do you have it?"
"Yes, safe and sound, in here!" I said as I patted my back pocket, after which I slid it out of my pocket and tossed the shiny object to her which she secured in a strap in her backpack.
Sirens.
"Let's get out of here" I said, putting on my helmet, climbing on my bike.
"Leg-go" She replied with a thumbs up as she did the same.
Before speeding away, I looked back at the burning mess that the warehouse was, a sneer forming on my face.
Accelerating beyond 90 we soon reached our location.
Entering the building, Vanessa greeted us.
"We got it" Nora said with a grin on her face, holding up the diamond ornament.
"Good job" Vanessa replied as she examined the necklace.
