"Ai'Can, WAIT!" Tinn shouts. Gosh. Why is this shorty walking so fast? I can't keep up!

Can knows that Tinn was just a few strides behind him. But he refuses to give in until he feels a light touch ghosting along his right arm. He feels his hand being pulled and within moments, his gorgeously tall Boyfriend (Is that what he is to me all this while? Or is it just in my head? I don't know anymore, Tinn) is just a few inches away from his face.

On a usual day, Can would have been so damn tempted to suck those pretty lips right there in the middle of their university football field, without minding that they were in a public place. But today, after what he heard earlier (damn his curiosity cat instinct!), being this close to this guy is the last thing he wants to do.

"LET. ME. GO." Yes. Can is angry. Scratch that. HE'S DAMN FURIOUS.

Tinn is staring. Like, really staring. I miss him. Why does he need to be in the football team? Nowadays, we  barely meet! And look, if there is anyone who should be angry, it would be me. Three weeks without seeing him is enough to drive me up the wall. Screw you Uni Departments Friendly match or whatever it is!

"What is it? I was going to see you just now. Yet you're running away from me." Tinn takes Can's hand in his own. He should take both. Just in case a flying punch comes his way. He's too distracted by how red (read : cute) Can's face is to even realize that the other one practically has smoke billowing from both his ears.

Gritting his teeth, Can twists his wrist apart from the warm encasement of Tinn's hand. "No. You're not. I'm nosy, remember? I'm convenient too, you said."

Wha-..the? Tears. Tinn blinks his eyes a few times, just to make sure he isn't dreaming. Can is crying. The last time he cried was the night they-. . .

Tinn tries to say something, but Can interrupts him.

"We should stop. Heck, I should stop. I should've known I'm not the one to be by your side. Silly me. Forcing myself on you like that." Can is rambling. But he's hurt. After what he heard the conversation between Tinn and P'Tul. He has never felt these kind of inexplicable feelings before, in his entire life.

Oh.. Oh no. Tinn feels like his soul is leaving his own consciousness. This is not-.. and before he knows it Can is trying to leave again.

"Can, no. I said wait!" And this time, he makes a right choice by holding both of Can's hands in his.

"You heard me and P'Tul?" The other is struggling again. Tinn hardens his hold, but just enough to not cause Can's wrists to bruise.

"You need to go, Tinn. Before I scream for the rest of the team to come here. And P'Type or Aey would surely be glad to punch the hell out of you in no time." Can is lying through his teeth. He won't do that. This tall ass in front of him still got Can's heart with him even though its already being trampled into nothingness. Can's love for him can't be more obvious. And he knows Tinn feels the same. Or at least LIKE him.

The tournament is just two days away. Why does it have to be today? Why do you have to hurt me today, Ai'Tin!

Tinn is pretty sure Can ran away before he heard the full conversation. He needs to explain. What Can heard was not all.

The one in front on him right now might have meant nothing to him back then. Hell, he's right. Tinn would have never imagined having Can this close to him, let alone making his heart feel full just by saying Can's name.

But it seems like Mother of Fate has her own plan, or should he say, she never seems to be on his side. One of Can's team mate has come, standing just a few steps behind Can, staring Tinn down with a piercing glare.

P'Type.

"Are you okay, Can? Is he bothering you? I never seen him wandering this far before. The IC area is that way, kiddo." Type's icy cold question goes unanswered.

Tinn tightens his grip.

Can tries to quieten his breathing. P'Type can't see me like this!

"Go. Please. I don't want you to get any trouble. It might look like nothing, but the whole team will be on your tail if they see me like this. They hate you enough. I don't want them to think any worse, Tinn." Can sniffs. Words flow as slow as he can. They are far enough from P'Type hearing range, he guesses.

Tinn is stubborn. Everyone knows that. He refuses to let Can go with all the misunderstanding unsolved.

But Can is crying and still worried about his safety even though he's hurting so much.

Tinn squeezed his hand softly, rubbing his thumbs over the back of Can's hand, trying to channel as much emotion as he can with his simple gesture.

"I don't know how much you heard from me and P'Tul. But its not what it is. Never will be."

He stops, and takes a deep breath. Why is this so hard. I miss you so much, Can.

"And I will be here again, although not for the game. And I will explain. All of it."

He looks into Can's teary reddened eyes and blotchy face, and gets an urge to wipe those tears off. But P'Type is still there, staring questionably at them.

Can just nods his head, twice, coupled with a tiny hiccup. It is enough for Tinn to leave the field for good. Or at least until next week.

"Ai Can.."

"It's nothing, P'Type. Let's go, we're late. I don't want to get an earful from P'Techno again."
