the boys of bangtan all day around the rectangular meeting table. bang pd sat at the front of it, hands crossed.
"i have some news you'll either be happy about or be devastated with," the manager begins.
"this is off to a great start already," yoongi comments to the boy that sat beside him.
"i know right," taehyung replies, returning to listening to their manager.
"i'm not gonna sugar coat this, so long story short, you're getting a new member."
a new member?
the seven of the boys talked among each other before the manager called them back together. "and it's also.. a girl."
a girl?!
the boys went into a panicked fright as they thought of who it might be.
but yoongi had a feeling he knew who bang pd was talking about. the girl with the bangs and black coloured ponytail that was held back in her baseball cap. the girl that performed on the street corner with her antique looking guitar. asuka rin. the only girl trainee they were aware of.
"asuka, please come in," the manager calls out.
the familiar girl walks into the room, but now looking not so familiar to him.
he had never seen her for the past year and a half while she was training because of his busy schedule and how hard they were working her.
her once black hair that only went to her shoulder blades was now in brown waves that swept down to her mid back. if she had ear piercings before, he never noticed it. her once golden skin was now a much lighter color, almost a sickly pale, and a thigh gap appeared.
"asuka?" yoongi manages to breathe out. although the girl looked extremely different, he still found her astonishingly beautiful. he couldn't wait to hear the training in her voice as well.
seeing the familiar boy, a smile finally erupts on her face, frantically waving as the manager continued to talk. "she'll be the eighth member of bangtan, so i expect you all to treat her with care and respect. she's a lady after all. is there anyone who thoroughly objected this idea?"
everyone shakes their heads, already getting used to having another member.
"taehyung you're drooling," yoongi nudges, causing the addressed person to wake up from his trance that resulted from looking at the girl.
"i was?"
"you still are."
"my name is asuka rin," the girl bows towards her new members. "i hope we all get along." her hair bounces as she bows to the group.
"yeah! asuka!" he seven boys cheer her on before bang pd shushes then again.
"now, here's some ground rules," the manager begins. "one, the dating rule stays the same. no dating people outside not inside the company. that includes asuka. two, no sexual relationships still. asuka is human too. and three, treat her like she's been apart of the group the whole time."
"we welcome you to bangtan, asuka," namjoon bows to her.
"i will work hard!" she excitedly says, putting her fist up. yoongi could see the several rings and bracelets that decorated her pale hand and arm.
"will she be living with us?" taehyung asks, inputting into the conversation.
"yes but she'll have her own room," the manager replies, shifting in his chair.
"what? no fair," hoseok pouts. "we all have to share a room but she gets her own?"
"we don't want any of our rules breaking, do we?"
"no." the boy shakes his head, hair ruffling.
"good. that's all i have to say for today. feel free to stay in here as long as you like." bang pd stands up and the others wave him goodbye as he exits the meeting room.
he peeks his head back in. "oh, and don't overwork her. she needs rest just like you all do." he disappears from the room again.
"asuka noona!" jungkook excitedly says, standing up to greet the girl.
she brightly smiles before walking towards the group.
yoongi stand up from his chair, wiping off his pants before bowing to the girl. "it's been a while, asuka," he nods.
"i know, how long has it been?" she asks, turning to yoongi, leaving jungkook alone.
"too long."
"but now you get to spend everyday with me," she grins. "i get to be around you all 24/7 now." her eyes disappear from how brightly she smiles. the rest can't help but smile as well.
