Jackson's POV:

"An alley cat? Are you insane?"

I frowned at Jinyoung's words. I crossed my arms and looked to the side where the cat was happily eating fish.

"Do you know how many diseases and parasites an alley cat like that can have?" Jinyoung pointed at the cat.

"That's why I should take him to the vet and if he doesn't have an owner, I should keep him." I said, looking Jinyoung in the eyes. He shook his head.

"Why are you so eager to keep this cat?"

"Because" I rolled my eyes. "I think he's cute. And I want to have a real friend." I sarcastically threw my hands up.

Jinyoung just sighed.

"Fine. But keep him out of my room."

"Don't worry, I will." I started smiling. I have a cat!

Once the cat finished eating, it hopped onto the couch. He curled up into a ball and closed his eyes.

I sat next to him and carefully scratched his kitty ears, making him purr.

"What should I name you?" I mumbled to myself. "I definetly won't give you a name like Cookie or anything. Maybe a human name would be nice?"

I continued petting him.

"Maybe something like Aaron or Derek? Eh, sounds a bit strange. Michael? No. Maybe a Korean name? No, it's very unlikely that you'd be from Korea." I shook my head.

"Jinyoung!" I called.

He peeked his head out of his room, looking bored. "What?"

"What do you think, Aaron or Derek?"

Jinyoung rolled his eyes. "I don't know, it's not my cat. Name him Mark for all I care."

He shut the door just as I was about to say something. Wow rude.

"Mark" I said. "Actually not bad."

I turned my gaze to the sleeping cat and smiled.

"What do you think, Mark?" I smiled.

Mark opened his eyes immediately and looked around. I furrowed my eyebrows a bit. Did he understand what I had said?

"Is your name Mark?"

Mark looked at me, not doing anything, just staring.

"Do you understand me, Mark?"

He slowly blinked, turning his head and went back to sleep. He sighed as he closed his eyes, tucking his nose under his tail.

So adorable.
