Marshpaw licked her paws, playing it off as Flamestar examined her. He narrowed his dark green eyes.

Cherrypaw's face of triumph changed to a face of confusion, Marshpaw noticed this and blurted out, "Flamestar, why are you circling us like a mouse brained badger?"

"Oh Nothing," he replied his eyes still narrowed to slits.

"Did you ever visit a forest?" he meowed. Coolly, "No ...why? Apart from ThunderClan territory." Marshpaw yawned, already bored.

"Can I go, i'm getting bored." Marshpaw looked up at the sky. "Fine, but you must not be lying. More will be asked later when I can find time." Flamestar blinked, signaling with his tail they could go.

Marshpaw was about to go to the apprentice den, when Skyshine stopped her. "Border patrol, Go get three other cats." she meowed.

She hopped to the apprentice den. Lakepaw was resting and had just awoken. "Lakepaw, come on a patrol pleeeeaseee let's try persuade your mentor to let you on a border patrol!"

"Err, Okay but why me?" he wittily replied with a slight grin on his face. "Ugh you mouse-brain, your the only one here!" she chuckled.

"Okay, Okay, But im not a mouse. Let's get Gorsecloud, if he isn't busy..." he yawned, as he had just awoken.

Marshpaw rolled her eyes, scanning the area for Cherrypaw, she had a very close bond with her sister, even though she was a bit afraid of her when she attacked.

Cherrypaw was just a couple of fox-lengths ahead, leaving the camp. Hunting Practice! I am already on patrol, For some odd reason even though she overpowered me, but I guess i could use with a bit of a border fight, i'll show them all that i'm worthy. She thought proudly, and quite confidently.

Lakepaw hurried over to Gorsecloud, who didn't even argue. He just nodded.

Boring! I thought I could have a persuasive chat with a warrior. Oh well. She thought again, Lakepaw padded behind her. She just blinked at him gratefully for even just asking Gorsecloud.

"How are you that big, Marshpaw?" Lakepaw asked. Brushing his pelt against hers, comparing sizes.

"Well I have no clue, your just a little mouse." she replied. Smirking, "Guess that means I'm a cute one then." he replied. "Did you just seduce yourself?" Marshpaw couldn't help but burst with laughter.

"Stop gossiping and actually do your job!" Skyshine snapped her fur bristling, "This isn't a gathering," she pointed out.

"Anddddd...you aren't my mentor." Lakepaw rolled his eyes. Her fur lay flat, "But I am Marshpaw's, so I have the privilege to tell her what to do, but not harshly." Skyshine flashed back, pointing this out.

Lakepaw didn't complain, and just blankly stared at Gorsecloud who padded on ahead with Skyshine.

"Sorry," Marshpaw mumbled, "It was my fault," she dropped her tail. As they finally reached the border.

Lakepaw nodded in reply but still looked shamed to talk. Why is everyone so quiet! She thought.

"I smell ThunderClan, they clearly crossed this border." Lakepaw meowed.

"There!" Gorsecloud exclaimed.

"Why did you cross this border?" Lakepaw hissed. "It's clearly marked. You also STOLE prey!" he added on. The three warriors stood in a line.

"Are you wanting a fight? Are you asking for one?" Marshpaw taunted.

The ThunderClan warrior blinked, "Let's attack Silvercloud, Tigerblaze," he meowed. Gotcha Deerleg." They whispered.
