Avni was really in a bad condition and neil was too shattered to see avni like that but some how controlled himself.it was almost 8 at night avni slowly opened her eyes to see neil sleeping in an uncomfortable position.she was very much tired to make a move.but when she stirred neil woke up with a jerk.he hugged her fragile body close to his heart.both of them felt an undescribeable peace in the warmth of each other .

Neil:avni…thank god you are awake…u really scared me..

Avni:(with lots of diificulty)sir…I ….didnt ..do any…thing…I..do …don’t..kn…ow …how…it …ca..me ..in…inside..my….my bag…I swear …sir..i …di dint do any…anything..plz…be belive …me..sir..

Avni tried to make a proper sentence.her breathing was really shallowed.she was sweating,shivering..

Neil:avni…avni..look at me…plzz relax….relax…I know u.i understands you.i know u didn’t do anything like that.relax avni…look your healt is worsening.wait I will call the doctor.

He was about to turn avni held his hand

Avni:I didn’t do anything…

Neil:avnii…

He again hugged her and rocked her. Tears was flowing from her eyes continuously.after some time he laid her down.

Avni:sir can I leave from here now.i don’t like staying in hospitals.

Neil:sure,I will complete the formalities and come.

Neil arranged a nurse to look after avni and left to the doctor’s cabin.

Nurse:u are very lucky to get a husband like him.he loves you soo much.

Avni:no no u are mistaken.he is my boss.

Nurse:oh sorry I thought he is ur husband.but u r lucky to have him your life be it any form.

Avni jst smiled a bit.neil along with doctor entered the room and checked Avni.

Dr:so how are you feeling now?better?

Avni:yes…

Dr:mr.khanna these are some medicines give her on time and change her bandage too .

Neil:yes doctor.thank you

Avni:thank you doctor.

Dr:its my duty.get well soon.

Nurse:get well soon dear..

Avni:thank you ..

Doctor and nurse left from the room.neil come towards avni and held her hand.

Neil:u are fine right??

Avni:yeah I am.lets go.

Neil:avni…shall I pick you up…you are soo weak …

Avni:its ok sir.i can walk.

Neil:not again avni.how many times I told you to call me neil.one more time I will make you work over time.

Avni:sorry,thank you neil for everything you did for will be debted to you for your help.

Neil:lets do this maths at home.come lets go.

Avni walked with trembling steps.neil hold her hand and both walked out holding each other’s hand.avni slept in the car itself.neil smiled seeing her sleeping peacefully.it was raining heavily by the time they reached their flat.avni woke up to the thunder and a small smile crept on her tired face.she made the glass window of the car down and put her hand outside to feel the rain.
