Chapter 6

Madison's P.O.V

I wake up the next morning to hear talking in the kitchen. I get up a little light headed and step on the cold tile floor. The rest of the girls had come over and were talking about something quietly and Drew was smiling as he was walking around speaking to someone on the phone. I sit down with the girls they all look at me and give me small smile. "How are you?" Sam asked I shrugged and said "pretty good" I got up to get a cup and knocked a glass mug on the floor and it shattered. Everyone even Drew looked at me. "nice one cluts" said Andy. Devin looked at me and was trying not to smile and said "that's probably like the 20th innocent cup you've murdered." I just stared at it and burst out laughing. The girls got up and started picking them up and eventually we ended up on the new clean floor laughing so hard we couldn't breathe.

Drew came in with a smile on his face and was bouncing a little. We got up and composed ourselves. "What's up with you?" asked Devin his amazing smile got impossibly bigger. "Sarah's coming up here to visit!" The smile that had grown on my face disappeared while Sam looked at me with a frown.

I have liked Drew since everyone started to get real crushes. We had been friends for forever. I knew he had a girlfriend I guess that him being with me and her nowhere around it felt unreal. Guess I just got slapped across the face by reality.

"That's great" I announced with a fake smile trying to sound enthusiastic. His smile got bigger and he said "I'm gonna go pick her up from the airport" Us girls looked at each other with confused looks until Sam said "Uhhh like now?" "Well duh she just got in she wanted to surprise me! isn't she the best?!" We gave him a small smile while I mumbled "the most perfect, best girl ever"

"Well go get her" said Devin he happily made his way to the door as he yelled a quick goodbye to us. Everyone turned to look at me. "Are you okay with this?" asked Andy as a questioning look spread across her face. "Yeah. it's not like if it wasn't it would make a difference. He's with her we're just friends." They looked at each other and shrugged. "let's watch a movie" everyone nodded and we sat and watched Dear John. I didn't even pay attention I was to distracted by the fact that Sarah was coming. She seemed super nice but I couldn't help but think that her being here would push Drew and I apart. I knew that we wouldn't be spending anytime together.

The girls and I watched some tv and started talking about some people on vine. I loved that app it was so much fun. I liked watching all the people try to be funny that itself was hilarious. We got bored and just scrolled through Instagram pointing out all the cute guys and deleting bad selfies on each other's accounts.

About a half hour later we heard a knock at the door. I slowly but surely walked over with a frown trying to stay positive about Drew and I, even though I know we probably wouldn't even talk.
