Chapter 2~Against the Alliance

"No dadu ! I won't do this ." he said said throwing his suit and the sofa getting furious . His handsome fair face was was all red .

"Aryan,you never talked to your grandfather like this! Say sorry to him stupid" his dad yelled to him .

"Sorry dadu ,I just couldn't stand it . And still now I can't stand it .How can you do this to me ? You know I'm not interested in this marriage staffs and all . Now I'm very busy with my business and I have to focus to make our company number 1 multinational company of Asia ." he said to his grandfather .

His grandfather is very dear to him .It has been very rare when he deny any words of his grandfather. But not that moment, because his grandfather has asked him something which is impossible for him .

"I know you are working hard beta, and you have already made our company one of the best company in India . But you can't spend all your life in this. You have to focus on your personal life, you have to marry beta, you know the girl is the best match for you!"

"I don't care dadu!! Work is my life, and I don't have time for marriage .And I hate girls , no girls can match with me , The Aryan Mehrotra !" He said and started to leave .

"Rukh jao Aryan!" [ Stop Aryan]

"If you don't marry the girl then I'll snatch the company from you , and you will not get your share of my property! " His grandfather said .

"What the hell? Just because of a girl? That girl who is nothing to you became your so own that because of her, you want to oust me out ?" He asked in cold voice .

"I announced my decision . The rest is up to you. What do you want to do? Marry her or go away from my house and business!" His grandfather said strictly .

Aryan didn't know what to say or what to do . He just stomped his feet and went away .

[ Roohi's P.O.V ]

"No papa!! You can't do this to me!! I won't marry now . I have my ambitions .I have to study hard . I can't waste my life!" I said to my father .

I can't believe what he just told me . He has fixed my alliance .How can he? I'm not ready for this . I just got graduated . Now I have to pursue MBA . 
But I can't say No to my papa . He will get angry and I'm so scared of his anger .

"You have had enough studies . Girls should not study much .Girl's should not cross their limit from Kitchen .You have to be daughter in-law of a new family, new house . You will have to take care of children ,your in-laws .And that's your destiny ! A girl's destiny!" Papa yelled .

"Papa, Now the time has changed . Girls are joining hands in works with men . Women are equal to men and you have to accept it one day !" I said looking down .

"How dare you to put your decision on me ? "

"Please, leave it naa, give her some time!" Mom tried to stop papa but he glared her .

I felt so bad and tears started rolling down my cheeks .

" Asha, Make your daughter understand! This is such a great alliance . They chose her when they could choose any nice rich girl like them. We are so lucky that we got an alliance from such a great family! " he said and walked away .

"Mummy!!! No please! I don't want to marry now. I want to study more! I'm still a kid . You always say na I'm a kid, tell me naa? I won't do the marriage ??" I panicked .

"sorry beta .But your father is right! It's your time for marriage .And the family is very good .You know Mehrotras, a very influential family!" She tried to make me understand, but I was in no mood to listen anything .

I ran to my room and locked the door . I sat on the floor folding my knees in front of my chest and bursted out into crying .

Why god ? Why? Why always me??

"I hate my parents .They never understand me . They never value my wishes, my choices." I cried in anger and frustration .

Just then my phone beeped . Ishan called me . I picked up the phone from bed .

"Congratulations my new bhabi . I'm so happy! I want to dance today ..yuppe .. Ude Dil befiqre.." Ishan's cheerful voice sounded from the other voice .

"What? What are you saying Ishan? Here I'm dying in frustration and you are having fun?" I cried .

"Sister, please don't cry .You should celebrate .Now we are going to become family members . So it's a double happiness .You are my sister plus bhabi " he exclaimed .

"I am not getting what are you saying Brother? "

"Arey I got to know my grandfather has sent a proposal to your parents for my elder brother Aryan ! I'm so happy!!"
