A quick note before we get started.
Writing an autistic character is a very personal, and emotional experience for me. I live with autism every day, as an outsider. I am the parent of two beautiful boys on the spectrum who are the center of my whole world and I comprehend a fraction of what they experience in their inner head space.
The character of Isaac is crafted with a lot of thought, love, and careful patience. Please remember Autism is a VAST scale of behavior and development delays. There are varying levels of functionality and severity. Autism is a spectrum.
