He is a beautiful man who should be worshiped.

Don Feather ston born January 25th, 1936 was the inventor of the iconic plastic pink lawn flamingo we all know and love. Created in 1957, his invetion of the iconic piece was originally made from phoenicopterus ruber.  After finding the material he named it phoenicopterus ruber plasticus. When he first created the flamingo he had shipped one off and it was soon to become an icon. Being a recent art school graduate from Worchester Art Mueseum in Massachusettes, he started by using cheap material for his sculpture; plastics. Sadly, Mr. Featherstone passed away on June 22nd, 2015. Although he died at age 79, his legacy would live on for generations.
