Saving Adrien

Mari's POV

I'm currently waiting in my soulmates room for his mom to come and tell me to make her breakfast or be her personal punching bag like I'm used to.   I realized I haven't seen what my soulmate looks like heck I don't even know his name.   I go into the bathroom to go see what he looks like, once I look at his reflection I'm in complete and utter adoration.  He's so handsome why was he chosen to be my soulmate he could do so much better,  I wouldn't be surprised if as soon as we get to my house and I get to meet him he'll reject,  there's no way anyone can like me,  I'm ugly, fat, and don't deserve to be here.  As I stare at his reflection I get lost into his deep green orbs of eyes, and the way his hair is styled so perfectly, and how he's fit, that I don't hear his mom walk in until she puts a hand on my shoulder.  I flinch and run to the other side of the bathroom saying "please don't hurt me" on repeat.

"I'm not going to harm you sweetheart I just wanted to tell you we're about to leave to go save my son and make sure you're taken far away from your mom,  so she can't ever hurt you again." She explains while Im still repeating don't hurt me and cradling myself in his,  or my, strong arms rocking back and forth to calm myself down. 

"Sweetie we have to leave now,  hold on a second sweetheart, " She says.  "Gabriel can you come here for a sec." She yells deep into the mansion.

"On my way" A voice replies. " What's up sweetheart?" He asks my soulmates mom.   I'm guessing that's his dad.

"Honey this is Adrien's soulmate she's scared of me but she might come near you. " His mom explains to the man.

"Hi I'm Gabriel,  Adrien's dad can you come here please?" Adrien's dad asks me.  I oblige going near him, "What's your name" he asks me.

"Marinette" I say just above a whisper while I wonder what it was like for Adrien to grow up with a father.

"Why are you afraid of my wife? " He asks this time pointing to Adrien's mom.

"All I've known from mothers is slaps,  punches,  and bad words so I'm afraid of all mothers afraid they'll do the same thing.  I hold nothing personal against her it's just I've never had a mom who generally cared about me other than to be her punching bag.  Please don't hurt me"  I explain scared once they hear what I say they'll punch me.

"We're not going to hurt you we'd never do that,  we may have just met you but I'm already so happy you're my sons mate instead of some stuck up brat who only wants my son for his money. "

"Speaking of your son we need to go get him before my mom hurts him so bad he'll be scarred for life and end up like me and I don't think your wife could handle him being afraid of her too. " I say to Gabriel starting to trust him more.

" Mr. Gabriel we really need to go now before its to late." I say looking down ashamed they have to save their son for his soulmates mother.

" Please just Gabriel or if it's not too big a step dad if you want." He says looking very timid as if I'm going to go crawl back into the corner.

" Ok dad" I say,  as I start smiling at the shock on his face when I called him that.  A random woman walks in.

" The plane is ready mr.  And Mrs.  Agreste. " She says.

"Thank you Natalie" Is a dad says before she walks out of the room.  He hold out one of his hands to me and the other to his wife and says "Come on." Before we walk out of the room and to their private jet strip into a private jet before we leave dad asks Natalie,  "did you contact the closet airport to Marinettes house and tell them we were coming? "

"Yes sir they said they have saved a special place for the plane not near any other planes so no suspicion will arrive about your presence." Natalie said causing me to wonder what's so bad with them being seen? After Natalie leaves I decided to ask dad.

"What's wrong with us being seen?"

"Your soulmate is a famous model all around the world, I am a world renowned fashion designer and my wife is a famous actor." Dad explains.

"So what your saying is my soulmate's way out if my league,  once you see how I look you'll understand." I say then I move to look out the window of my room on the private jet while dad and Adrien's mom went to their room.  "This will be a long flight. " I mumble to myself before locating the bed and falling asleep.

"Marinette wake up we're here. " I hear dads soft voice as he shakes me awake.

"Can I stay on the plane while you guys go get him so I don't have to see her" I say putting an emphasis on her so he knows who I'm talking about.

"Honey we need you to show us where it is and all the places your mom could hide him in case she try to hide him from us. " He speaks softly so he doesn't scare me like you would to a stray dog that's been abused.

"Yes, sir." I say with my head down as we walk out the door.

Once we get to my road I start flipping out, dad kept having to go and calm me down saying he wasnt going to let anyone hurt me, I'm safe, after this she'll be out of my life forever he'll make sure of it. As soon as I started to calm down we pulled into the driveway.

Once we pulled in I saw the blinds to 'my' window open and 'my face shown through once he saw me the blinds shut and I could watch the shadow retreating as fast as it could.  When she came out a couple minutes later without him, I knew she had hidden him, luckily on the way here dad told me he had gotten a warrant just in case so we have some police hidden just behind the bend where she couldn't see them, but we knew they were there.  My mother came towards the car and said in slurred words.

"Why are you here, who are you, get the fuck off my property and leave me alone!"

After her words mom, yes even though I'm still scared she'll beat me I'll call her mom, who was holding onto  the button just in case pressed it and out came the police my mom started to freak when they said s they need to have a look around and showed her the warrant she tried to stop them but they put her in handcuffs as dad took me inside and asked where his son, my soulmate, could be.  The first place I thought of was my room so I went there no sign of him, went to the closet nothing, bathroom, nadda, I came down and saw they don't have him either then it hit me the hidden compartment in the wall, I run straight to it police with my dad on my tail swing the door open and see him there, I step back as dad gets him out and calls for mom screaming "SHE FOUND HIM, SHE FOUND HIM!!!" Mom came in and they had a big group hug when the officers left I started to head out when someone grabbed my arm...

Was it Adrien or was it her dad or was it her mom? So sorry it took me so long to update so to say sorry two chapters in one day one small and one over 1000 words hope you enjoyed them remember to vote, comment and follow me love y'all bye
