Months after taking down a HYDRA base, this time Steve came home from a small mission with a surprise gift for (Y/N).
It was a puppy.
"Y/N! I'm home, and I brought you something!" He beams as he waits for your response.
"Steve! You're home!" Y/N yells as she rushed to hug him. "There's my baby girl!" He laughs as he picks her up and twirls her around.
A small bark came out of the box as Steve sets Y/N down. "Is that what I think it is?" Her eyes sparkles with joy.
"Indeed, it is" Steve says as he hands her the box. Y/N quickly opens it, to only see her (favorite) puppy.
She squeals and holds up the puppy. "Steve, its perfect! Thank you so much!" She jumps on him.
"You're welcome, (Y/N). What should we call (her/him)?" He asks. "How about (dog's name)?" She says, hoping he would be fine with the name.
"D/N, it is" he smiles.

"God, what time is it?" He groans and sits up to turn off the alarm.
He yawns while checking his side, only to see Y/N not sleeping beside him. She must've woken up early, he thought.
He stood up and heads to the bathroom. Soon after doing his business, he heads downstairs to see Y/N making breakfast for him.
He smiles upon seeing her, "Good morning, sweetie" he says.
"Morning, caps" she grins while flipping bacons. "The usual, I see?" he said. "You know that's the only thing I can cook so either you eat it my way or no way" she said as she rolls her eyes on Steve, seeing him laughing. "I'm sorry, dear." He said while still laughing.

"Do you really have to go?" Y/N says while holding D/N in her arms. Steve sighs as he didn't want to leave her, "Unfortunately, yes" he said while walking towards her. He hugs her tightly, "You be careful, okay?" She said as she gave him a peak on the cheek. "I'll try to come back in one piece." He grins. "Go save the world, capsicle!" She laughs.
If only he knew..

He came home in one piece as he promised, but only with a few wounds on his hands.
"Y/N! I'm back, I came in one piece liked I promised! He laughs.
D/N came running towards him while barking. "Woah, hey D/N. What's wrong?" He asks, he felt like D/N was trying to say something to him. D/N kept barking at their bedroom door.
"Y/N?" He shouts and waits for a response but nothing came. He started to get nervous. He walks towards their shared bedroom and twisted the knob, only to find it locked.
"Y/N, are you in there?" He says while knocking on the door. Silence
"Y/N, I'm going to bust this door open, just stay back so you won't get hurt" he quickly says as he starts to panic.
It took him a while to bust the door open but he didn't care, he looks around his surroundings only to be horrified. "Was it a good idea to leave her alone?" A writing was spread across the wall in blood.
"No!" He sobs. He called Tony and informs him about what happened. "Don't worry, Captain. We'll find her" Tony said. "Thanks, Tony" Steve said as he ends the call. Tears forms around his eyes, threatening to fall. "I'm going to kill them. I'll kill them all!" He shouts.
She's gone..
My baby's gone..
Gone, just like the wind..
