The True Story of Captain Hook

Chapte 5 -Stars; Father and Son

SCENE: Neverland. Present. Everyone is talking about finding Henry. Emma points out on the map.

"We are gonna come in through the back entrance here. She's gonna talk her way in. Once she makes sure the coast is clear, then we are going to sneak on in. We still have to deal with any lost boys once you're inside." Tink mentioned the dreamshade again and asked about the exit plan. If you don't have a way off this island, then none of this matters. No one comes and goes from this place unless he allows it. This is a waste of time. Let me show you something." Tink takes out a watch. "I got it from the people who brought your son here for Pan. Spent half the night cleaning the blood off it. And the other guy... Well, there wasn't enough left of him to find anything useful. This is what Pan does to people he employs. What do you think he's gonna do to you? I'm not sticking my neck on Pan's chopping block without a way off this island. When you figure that out, you know where I live." Tink took off and then Hook spoke up, "That's not completely true. Neal was on this island.

SCENE: Neverland. Present. Gold uses magic to knock out various lost boys that come near him and he runs into Neal. He is convinced Neal is fake and a trick but eventually Neal's pleading and calling Gold papa; finally convinced Gold he was really there.

"It's kind of a long story. Let's just say that the debt Robin Hood owes you has been paid. The only thing that matters now is that I help Emma save Henry. Where is she?" Gold told how he left them on the ship. "You can save your whole I'm gonna die killing Pan speech cuz I have a plan." Neal takes Gold to an island area with water and picked up a shell. "You know how if you hold a shell up to your ear you can hear the ocean? Certain shells, the ocean can hear you." He bless into a shell and eventually a squid is trying to attack them. Neal gets a spear from Gold and kills the squid. "I believe you know how to extract ink from one of these bad boys. It can immobilize the most magical of creatures. At least for a little while... Even Pan."

SCENE: Neverland. Present. Hook takes everyone to a weird area that looks like a rock but it actually a small cave.

"Neal. This is where he lived." Emma said. Hook confirmed, "Aye. Baelfire spent some time in Neverland as a boy. Let's hope he left a clue as to how he escaped from here?" Everyone looked at things and Emma saw drawings on the wall. While David and Snow found make shift bowls. "Don't know how great a cup this coconut could make. It's filled with holes." Regina was sarcastic about it being a colinder for pasta. "Hold on." Hook said. Hook picked up a small candle that was in the cave and lit it with the torch. He then put it in the whole coconut and put the torch out. He then put the two coconut pieces together and it made small lights in the cave. "Stars. It's a map."

SCENE: Neverland. Present. Pan's camp. (Lost boys yipping and grunting) (Wind blowing) Neal and Gold sneak into the came. Everyone except Pan is put to sleep by Gold's magic.

"How exciting. The Dark One ready to sacrifice his life for his family. It's heartwarming to see father and son working together, especially after you abandoned him, Rumple. This is a real family reunion." Pan taunted them. Neal shot an arrow at Pan who caught it. "Clever. But we've been through this before, Baelfire. Have you remembered nothing?" Neal smiled, "I remember plenty. That's why I didn't coat the tip." Magic surrounds Pan and he is paralyzed. Neal grabs Henry and they take off. Once Neal and Gold are a bit away Neal uses the ink on a leave to paralyze Gold too.

SCENE: Neverland. Present. The cave. Everyone is staring at Hook.

"There was a short time in Neverland when Baelfire was aboard my ship. I taught him to navigate using the stars. What you're looking at is the fruit of my labors. Sadly, I can't read it. I also taught Neal something else. The key to being a pirate... secrecy. The best captains conceal their maps in a code. He was an apt pupil." Emma was disappointed, "Which means the only person who can read it is dead."

SCENE: Hook's ship. Past. Hook and Baelfire.

"Remember you can't tell anyone the secret about you map it all about secret. You get kidnapped and get way; they'll find you way right back to you." Hook then looked at the sky. "What is it?" Baelfire asked. "We'll stars can lead you home especially if you listen hard enough you can hear them guide you. They are people too if you believe it or not." Hook added and Baelfire said Hook sounded crazy.
