It's another day in the village for 16 year old Alaina Barnes. She is out picking wild flowers. She is not aware of what the day holds. Her sisters soon come to get her. "What's going on?" she asks puzzled. They don't respond and keep on walking. They're ignoring her. "Let go! Let go!" Alaina yells. They keep squeezing her, now even tighter than before. They soon get to her room and wrestle her into a petite white gown. "What's going on?" she questions in a demanding tone. "Your birthday party child," her stepmother responds. "Here you will meet the man who is right for you dear." "No! Never!" Alice responds. "Yes. Now. Today!" her stepmom responds. She runs off and disappears. She is soon following a white rabbit down a path and soon down his rabbit hole. Down, down, down she falls. "Will I ever stop falling?" Alaina asks herself. "Will I ever get my feet back on the ground or continue falling forever into the unknown?" She soon touches down in a peculiar world unfamiliar to her. "Where am I?" she asks herself. "You are in Wonderland, dear!" says an unusual voice. "Show yourself!" Alaina responds. "Right above you," says the creature as he appears to Alaina. "You're a cat!" Alaina exclaims. "A Cheshire to be exact," the cat replies. "You came through the rabbit hole, yes?" the cat asks. "Yes, I did indeed," Alaina replies. They chatter on for a very long time. Alaina then goes on her way.
