Chapter Four

The next morning, I woke up to Skylar still asleep and Rae wedges between us. I smiled as I thought we looked like a happy family. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around both of them.

A few hours later, we were all up and eating breakfast in the kitchen. Rae said she was going up to her room when she was done, then she bolted up the stairs like her life depended on it. I started doing the dishes when I felt Skylar's arms around my waist once again. He put his face close to my ear and whispered. "Maybe after you're done here, we could go upstairs and maybe I can play with my new toys?" He very cautiously lifted my shirt only about an inch. His hot breath sent shivers down my spine. "I don't know Sky. I'm not sure if that's a good idea with Rae down the hall and considering we just started dating." I leaned my head back onto his shoulder and he started kissing and sucking on my neck. I bite my lip trying to keep quiet. "You sure that's your final answer, sweetheart? I can do much better than this." I thought about what would happen if I went all the way with him. "Do you even have any protection?" I asked as I turned my head away. "I found some at a pharmacy and thought I should hold on to them. So what do you say sweetheart?" He licked where he had been sucking only moments before. "Not tonight, Pup." I could feel his cheek heat up on my ear from the nickname. "Let's just go to bed, ok?" I turned my head back to him as I spoke. He kissed my nose. "Your wish is my command, sweetheart." With that, he picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room. "You know I can walk right?" I chuckled as he gently set me down on my side of our bed. "Maybe I just want to spoil you, sweetheart. Is that a crime?" He gave me his signature smirk. I yawned. "No, I'm just pointing out I'm not helpless." I said, sliding under the covers. "Fine, but can't I spoil you sometimes?" He gave me puppy eyes and grabbed my hand. "Fine." I relented. "Yay!" I've never seen a bigger smile on his face than I did right then.
