I got drunk off the thoughts I had and spiraled. I spiraled into uncharted waters I had only thought about. Waves crashing down on me, like a never ending tsunami. I tried to swim but without a life vest I was only going to sink.
And then you came. With your words of security and your gestures of comfort. You became my life vest in those moments. Pulling me from the waves and uncharted waters.
