As Syo ran away from Ai, the robot wondered what had caused his kouhai to react like that. Shock, perhaps? Or maybe another factor unknown to him as of right now had intervened and made the scene come to be? What ever it be, Ai shook himself off, and continued his stroll, seemingly with not a care in the world.
Yet, what was the heat that spread across his face, and the sound of his heart in his chest...?
1-9-1-9-1-9-1-9-1-9-1-9-1-9-1-9
"Shitshitshitshitwtfjuzhappenshitshitshit..." was all that was running through his mind as Syo himself ran back towards the main building of the Master Course. First, crazy pics on some fangirl's newsfeed, and then bumping into his senpai, who also just happened to be taking a stroll down the same path as he? Not the best start to a morning. He sighed heavily, and sat on one of the couches as a blush decided to finally settle on his face.
"Ne, daijobudesuka, Ochibi-chan~?"
"Wha--?!" Syo yelled, startled suddenly out of his thoughts. Glancing up quickly, he sighed in relief as he saw that it was only...Ren.
"JEEZ Jinguji, ya scared the flyin' daylights outta me..." Syo yelled, then trailed off. The orangette only smirked as he sat across from the blonde.
"Gomen, gomen. But seriously, are you alright? You look...lower...than usual." Syo opened his mouth to respond with another retort, then closed it and looked down at the carpet. He carefully chose an answer as he balanced his head on his hands which were balanced on his knees.
"Depends." he answered vaguely.
"...I'm not usually one to say this, but you really, truly must be sick or something, because normal, short and angry Syo would've already been biting my head off." Syo's head snapped up; it wasn't every day you heard Jinguji Ren voicing his concerns. Especially about Syo. Ren smirked again as he saw that he had regained the other's attention again.
"Lemme guess. Love problems?" Syo almost let his jaw drop. Almost. But seriously, this is Ren we're talking 'bout here. He reluctantly nodded.
"Welp, nothin' I can do t' help you there."
-_-* "Reaally." Syo drawled sarcastically, like the orangette was joking. But Ren nodded solemnly, as if delivering the news that a kitten had died.
"I'm serious. Everyone's different, especially when it comes to how they deal with things. Including love, and how they prefer to display it," Ren said. Syo thought that his fellow band-mate was starting to sound like a professor. On love.
"Even though I can't exactly help, I can say this. Do what feels right, and follow your gut. Chicken out now, and you'll never get another opportunity. We only live once, and we only actually fall in love once. Everything else is a copy of the first. Ja, ne." And with that insightful talk, Ren left a slightly dumbfounded Syo sitting by his lonesome.
"...Who knew Ren could say something so deep like that?"

Thank goodness Ai had remembered to stuff extra paper into his pockets. Oh, and a pencil, as well as a large eraser.
The android was currently sitting inside one of those mini-pavilions you see next to a lake. The wind picked up, and blew small ripples on the surface of the water as he sat in the light of the slowly rising sun. As for what he was doing...well, he wasn't really doing anything. Just...sitting there. Quietly. Not making a sound, whatsoever.
For as much as he tried to put that event in the back of his memory storage, it would not go away. He even attempted to see if the Professor had installed a virtual trash can for his memories. There wasn't one.
He sighed, and leaned back on his hands, closing his eyes as his head tilted upwards. Ai had tried listening to Nanami's new song on repeat many, many times, but nothing would drown out the dialogue that continuously looped in his mechanical mind. None of this would compute. Without realizing it, as the piano replayed again in the background, he started to sing a song in English that somebody had shown to him. But, he switched around 'she' with 'he' unconsciously.

For several moments, Ai sat there.
"...Forgive, huh?"

Cue the wind to blow away the paper he was holding.
Sighing, Ai got up, and started to pick the papers up. With his head down, he didn't realize that it started to rain, and the wind became steadily stronger. As he looked for the last sheet, he found it blowing away on the edge of the lake. Jogging after it, he stopped at the waters edge as the paper floated. Thinking it couldn't hurt, he got on his knees and reached for the paper. Several things happened after that decision.
"A-AI?!" Ai's head snapped up at the mention of his name, and by a familiar voice, no less. At the same time, a fairly strong gale of wind blew over the Master Course campus, shaking the trees and plants violently.
It also blew Ai off balance, and into the water.
