The difference between you and him is that he cares, he tries, and he proves.
You only showed anything towards me when you were drugged out or drinking.
Him on the other hand tells me I'm beautiful everytime his sober mind catches a glimpse of me.
You never kissed me unless you wanted something out of it.
He kisses me at red lights and tells me he loves me.
You wanted me to buy you cigarettes.
He buys me food and helps me pick something off of the menu.
You let me love you as you crumbled me to pieces.
He's gluing me back together and teaching me what love actually is.
Now, the thing is that I'm at ease with you hurting me, because I have him.
Thank you for being a chapter in the book I will continue to write with him.
