Norex Abnul is his name. Born in a time without years, months, days, or clocks, Norex was thrown into an instant life of action and adventure. His father, a brute for "The Guild of Hunters", found himself a lovely bride on a mission to kill an unknown fire dragon. After the hunt was over, the dragon flew away, unslain. The mission was a failure. As the group returned to their small camp, where Norex and his mother were kept, the same dragon flew overhead, its wings creating sonic booms and its shadow blocking out the sun. With one quick dive, a large fire engulfed the camp, setting tents, horses, humans, and the like, aflame. Norex's mother quickly rushed him out of camp, setting him in a near by bush to be safe until the fight was over. The child cried as his mother ran to join the fight. Only a few short minutes had passed, and the fight died down, the dragon victorious. Their camp is in shambles, and Norex left an orphan. Cries from the bush alerted the dragon, and it went to investigate. Finding Norex, it picked him up by the collar of his tunic, and set off with him in tow. Norex had found himself a new father, and teacher.
Years passed, and Norex learned from the dragon many things. Norex became fluent in dragon, as well as English (note, although called English in the story, it is the only human language in the world. It is being called English to help translate, and not have to make up a new funky language) As Norex grew, he became skilled with a bow. Learning to shoot small objects and moving targets from afar at young ages. The dragon took into account this aim, and set to specialize him in archery. He was shown combat at a young age, fighting for dragons in conflict with humans and other creatures of the sort. He learned how to battle easily and swiftly, learning new tactics, physiological methods of intimidation, as well as becoming a quick thinker, all made Norex a valuable asset on the field. Off of it, was a different story. He was dim witted, showing no care or smarts for basic mathematics. He
