Chapter -2

THE DOOR BELL RINGS ...
"Hi ...aunty ..Can we come in ?"
Parineeti and Varun were standing in front of Aisha's mom  with a fake smile on their faces .
"Ah ..come inside.." The lady replied with a sense of hesitation . She knew they have come to inquire about Aisha . She couldn't stand them , they brought her daughter's image into her mind , which broke her heart . For her , Parineeti and Varun were no less than Aisha , they three were like siblings .
"Sit down ..I will bring mango juice ...Did you guys have your breakfast ?" She was about to complete her sentence but Parineeti interrupted in between .
"Aunty ..we don't need anything ..you know right why we are ..we want to know more about Aishu and we don't have enough time  . " She said on a serious note .
Aisha's mom lowered her chin and looked down . Tears rolled up in her eyes , she took a deep breath and tried to speak again .
"Pari ...I ...I..don't know anything about her . I have never done anything to her . I never made her angry . I know that my..my.  Aishu loves me a lot "She was tearing up . Aisha was her only child . Her dad left them when she was six . But that didn't break the family down . She and her mom were very happy together . But now every tables were turned. 
"Aunty calm down . She will be back . She is just fooling us . I know her . You know right she is very good in pranking others ." Parineeti tried to comfort her . But nothing could releive the mother's pain .
" Aunty can we please check the letter that  she gave you ."
Varun quicky stood up from the sofa and asked in one breath .
" It's in her table , upstairs , right beside her bed. You guys go and check it out . I am not coming , I can't get into her room , it's breaking me down " lady replied . Her voice was very soft . She could barely talk .
"Ok aunty , stay calm , we are here for u , Pari , come let's go check it out " Varun ordered .
Parineeti and Varun went straight up the stairs and headed towards Aisha's bedroom . The room was a mess .There were stuffs on the ground , clothes tangled on the bed , bedsheets on the floor .
Varun then spotted the letter on her study table , he took it from there and started reading it . His hands were shivering , throat almost sore , his vision was slightly blurring , he started breathing very heavily .
" Varu...check this out " Parineeti interrupted Varun from his state of mind . She was holding a book . Somewhat like a diary .
"Dear Zindagi -- My secret diary" Varun read the title of the book . Varun and Parineeti looked at each other. An air of releif blew across them .They had got their first clue which would take them to Aisha.
