What to do, what to do... ''I don't want to get kidnapped!'' Frank sighed. ''Time travel doesn't exist. But she seemed really desperate. I feel bad for her... I should go-'' But once again, Frank changed his mind. ''Eh, she's probably just insane.'' But... Frank thought about her smile, about her confidence. The sentence she spoke out made him think twice again. ''Or you can become someone who matters...'' This is it. He has to decide now, he has to decide if he will go home, never knowing what that mystery was about, or he could be more, much, much more. Frank was a little angry at himself though, why does this only happen to him?! Should he take a turn left, home? Or a turn right, to the forest? ''I'll decide...'' Frank mumbled, while closing his eyes. He took a turn right.
But when he arrived at the forest, he didn't see anyone. ''Well, that's it, just a lie to waste my time. I'm going home now.'' As he spoke his last words, he noticed something glowing on the ground. It was... some kind of necklace? It had a red, glowing stone in it, and it was slightly spinning. It looked magical. ''Hm... And I'll take this!'' Frank quickly picked up the necklace, he admired it for a few seconds, before putting it in his pocket, about to leave.
''Do you think it's pretty?'' Frank almost jumped from that sudden voice. But wait... It's that girl... The girl from yesterday! Oh no. ''H-h-e-heyyy, I was just about to leave. It's a really pretty necklace. Uh... I'll see you!'' ''Did you know it's mine?'' The girl giggled. Frank kept feeling more and more awkward and embarrased. ''Yours? Oh, I am s-sorry... I didn't know that. Here.'' Frank pulled it out of his pocket, mesmerized by it for a full minute, just staring at it. ''It's really, really cool. Where did you get it?'' He managed to speak out while slowly handing it to her. ''I got it, well, because I'm a time traveler. Isn't that why you're here, Carter?'' Frank just felt weird now. And he completely forgot that's why he's here. Thinking about it now, he wanted to leave. And it was even more creepier she knew his name! ''Yeah, no, uh, sorry.'' The girl put the necklace around her neck, slowly. ''I am Lexus.'' Did Frank just hear... Lexus? Well, that's an unusual name. Lexus mumbled something under hear breath, and then, a red light shot out of the red stone on her necklace. It destroyed a tree! And how? ''I don't wanna b-be f-friends with someone who can destroy trees with their necklace.'' Again, Frank just realized she can probably harm him too. ''Please don't hurt me, b-bu I don't want to-'' The girl broke off his sentence with her own. ''Just follow me.'' Frank wasn't sure, but he felt he needed to. The red light was not natural. ''I mean... okay. But if you even try to harm me, Lexus, I swear-'' The girl smiled widely. She clearly became more happy and drastically more enthousiast because he agreed. ''It's okay, I would never do that! Also, you can call me Lex if you want to.'' ''Uh, okay, Lex. Can we go now?'' Lex giggled. ''Yes, yes we can.'' She mumbled something to her necklace, and it created some kind of... portal? It was a red portal. ''I'll take you to our secret place.'' Frank's eyes widened. ''A-am I crazy or...? Oh, but what do you even mean with our?'' Frank had so many questions. Lex smiled, one last time. ''You'll see, now get in!'' He hestitated, but Lex gave him a small push inside of the portal, before all he saw was red, different shades of red spinning before his eyes, and a strange feeling of dizziness.
