Europe, Land without magic before Gothel's massive human extinction

Charles had magic, ever since he was a child he remembered weird stuff happening around him, with time he learned how to control what was happening to him, he was an orphan, he didn't know if this magic came from his parents or if he had been cursed with it. He grew up being afraid of himself until he met a young nymph named Vertia, she thought him how to use his magic and various magical items, his gift no longer scared him. But one day his adoptive parents cought him practicing magic with her, they thought she had spelled him so they locked him away and expelled the nymph.
When Charles got out he ran away and decided to search for Vertia only to find her dead, so in fear he hid in an old cave and cried for her. He spent weeks days in there not knowing what to do with his life, when he came out he found no body, humanity was gone, perhaps another hidden person could be alive, but he knew that this was a new beginning but he could not have his magic or his memories anymore all magic was gone and so eventually will be all memory of it so he took a dream catcher and sealed his memories and he took his own magic and placed it inside a bottle sealed by blood so that only someone in his bloodline could open it so he became like everyone else a dull magicless human.
Storybrooke, Emerald city
The memories ended
- the bottle it contains magic my ancestor's magic, he was a wizard before the land got deprived of magic. So he survived, my mother's crazy plant poison spread.
