"What do you mean you can't find Kira???" Killua almost shouted to the phone. He immediately ran out of their room and went outside.
He was still holding his phone, waiting for Gon's reply while walking. He couldn't do this with God's speed. Who knows what will happen if he makes a call while he is in that mode. So he had to stick with walking.
People were greeting him on his way out. But he didn't mind them.
He had been famous because of the Heavens Arena matches and his extremely gorgeous face and physique but he clearly has no time for people affected by his presence right now. Hell, he could even kill them if they get in the way at this point.
Impatience had taken over him and he was in no mood to be interrupted. The moment Gon said those words something stirred inside him and he immediately knew he has to get rid of it.
Gon met up with him outside the building. And they immediately switched off their phones upon contact.
"I've been looking at her for a while but it seems that her scent has been washed off and she disappeared with a crowd." Gon suddenly said.
Killua eyed him. He knew Gon's capabilities have not weakened since they've been kids. And him losing track of Kira could only mean one thing.
"Someone's involved." Killua said what Gon was implying, direct to the point.
"Yeah. And they either knew I had these types of tracking abilities or it was just a coincidence." Gon added.
"Hard to say. Let's split up into the two different sides of town and meet at the bell tower. Look for anything suspicious. If we still haven't found her by then, I'll use En." Killua ordered. Gon nodded and the two immediately dashed around the different houses in a flash. They were leaping from roof to roof, trying to look for Kira among the crowd in the process.
The people in the town haven't noticed them as they did this, as even this form of scouting can't even be seen by the naked eye.
Numerous thoughts were piling up in Killua's head. He didn't knew what was going on but he knew his orders had been vague.
'Strolling around town' couldn't have gotten Kira lost. As much as possible, with her normal pace in walking, she could've just been outside of the building. But this obviously wasn't the case.
His guts were telling him something was up. And who knows how many enemies he'd have made.
The mafia was clearly out of this current list. He had already confirmed with his own eyes that no spies had followed him to the Heaven's arena. So if it weren't anything underground, who had he made enemies with this time?
A thought suddenly popped up in Killua's head.
Maybe it wasn't his enemies that was messing with him this time around. Perhaps it was Kira who made enemies.
He suddenly recalled where Kira had been all this time.
She was always with him.
He suddenly let go of the thought that Kira had made enemies. 'How could she made enemies by only being with him?' He shook his head while thinking of this.
He kept looking for every corner within the city through his view from above. He was still halfway from their meeting point.
Meanwhile, Kira was actually inside the bell tower. She had been kidnapped by a few deranged fangirls. And you know whose fangirls they obviously are.
